Phewwwww, finally have time to update my Kayla’s BBG and eat clean program. My last update on Kayla’s BBG was 8 weeks ago, I cant believe it went by so quickly! At first I was like “Waw 12 weeks means 3 months, super long ok T___T” I thought I would give up half way but guess what I’m still going stronger than ever, I mean physically and mentally.
My routine is pretty much the same as what I mentioned in my previous update, read it here if you haven’t. I still stick to my eat clean plan on weekdays and sometimes on weekends if I have no plans. My workout routine is still Mon, Wed and Fri for Kayla’s BBG then Tues, Thurs and Sat I attend cycling class.
As usual, if Jo is not lazy he will prepare a healthy lunch for the both of us. Mine will be filled with lots of vege and protein but his will have a little bit of carbs like rice or noodles. Im jealous at Jo sometimes because he gets to enjoy carbs but I cant =(
A few of you ask me what I usually eat for dinner. I always try to stick with Japanese, fish head soup or yong tao fu. Japanese is the most clean and satisfying meal, I totally ignore the bowl of rice and just focus on the proteins!
Noodles and curry, I will keep my portion small such as half a bowl of noodles instead of a bowl! As for the curry soup maybe just a few mouthfuls instead of the whole bowl. Thank god i’m not a big fan of curry soup hehe.
Sometimes we have mamak for lunch on cheat days! Indo mee and fried chicken, it’s heaven on earth man. I dont need fancy meals all I need is a plate of indo mee, I’m as easy as that hahaha
We went to Bangkok on week 7 so what we did was to stop Kayla and BBG for a week! We just ate watever we wanted and skipped the gym for 1 week! One bad meal wont make you fat so we just feast!
The more torturing part wasnt getting back to the gym, in fact I quite looked forward to getting back on track. The most torturous part was to start eating clean again… I was literally stuffing my mouth with a lots of fruits, yogurts and almond to stop my hunger.
We still prefer to do Kayla’s BBG in the outdoor workout area. We always start our workout at around 7pm so the weather is just nice. The reason why we love doing it outdoors because we get to sweat a lot, much more than doing it in an air conditioned room which is awesome! Sweat means fats are crying hahaha
I love going to the gym on weekends or public holidays because the gym will be empty! I get to enjoy the space and take a lot of mirror selfies=)
I also realized there is a lot of improvement on my stamina and I’m getting stronger! I can do 10 burpees in a row without having to stop half way to catch my breath! Kayla’s BBG really helps to improve my body and strength a lot! Every week I realize I’m getting stronger than the week before, I’m so happy about it.
RESULTS!!! (What everyone has been waiting for)
I weigh myself every Thursday! My current weight is now 48.9 kg compared to 50kg just 1 week before, I dont know how the hell I lost 1.1k5 in one week maybe it’s the machine ==” My muscle weight still stayed the same but my PBF dropped, I guess it makes sense when I drop 1.1kg? Bye fats!
Comparing week 1 to week 7, the changes are so obvious and satisfying hahahaha. My ass and abs are toner. As for my back, you can see it getting leaner compared to before. I still need to work harder on my lower abs, back and arms!!!
To be honest, there was a point where I felt like giving up because of my laziness. The process goes like this….
Week 1-5 : Super exited and hardworking because you’re desperate for the results!
Week 6-9 : Lazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy but still pushing myself to go to the gym. Thank god I have Shirley with me! (I’m glad I didnt give up =) )
Week10- 12 : Die also cannot give up because I’m more than half way to the end edi!!!
I try to share my experience and journey to my frens but some of them give up on the first week of Kayla’s BBG. They say it’s too intense, it’s so upsetting to see frens giving up without even trying because I know IT WORKS! It’s not like a magic spell but you need to put a little more effort la.
I will be completing Kayla’s BBG 12 weeks program in 2 weeks. I wont just stop there because it’s CNY soon, so we decided to just keep repeating week 9- 12 till a week before CNY! Then, we will continue Kayla’s BBG vol 2 (week 12-24) after CNY.
