  • The Next Chapter – Sakura Banquet

This is a super long over-due post, and when I say long, I seriously mean it because we have been married for almost 1.5 years already hahaha. To be honest, I sort of forgot about sharing our wedding dinner pictures hahaha. I always tot I have already shared them with everyone hahaha.

When I was cleaning my computer desktop I was like “Ehh lets look at our wedding pictures!” That’s when I realized I forgot to share my wedding dinner pictures hahahha

A few of you have been asking me when I will only be posting my wedding dinner pictures, so here you go!

I sort of forgot all the details that happened on that night so I’m going to just share 100s of pictures instead ok?

I can only share pictures with you guys because we dont have a wedding video FOL. If you didn’t know, our videographer lost our wedding footage a few days after our wedding. So, I only have pictures left T____T

Our wedding was held at Empire Hotel, Subang. The reason why we chose to have our wedding there was because the interior of the ballroom is super pretty! LED lights that you can choose your favorite color! Besides that, our wedding is considerably a small wedding, there were only 25 tables and it fits perfectly into the ballroom! Their food was ok, not like awesome but it’s considered ok compared to a lot of other hotels.

A few pictures of the decorations that were done by Paper & Color. The theme of our wedding banquet was Sakura because we did our pre-wedding shoot in Japan during Sakura season! I personally requested for Sakura trees along the aisle.

  • Our Honeymoon – Boracay III

Hola! How’s everyone doing? It’s me again, Jo. Sorry for the disappointment if you were expecting Bo but she kinda tricked me into doing this post. Anyhow, I guess that I would have offered to do it for her anyway cause she’s been just so busy these past few weeks. I’ve always had my preconceived notions about how bloggers and blogging is so easy, but recently Bo has been so busy with events and such, combined with her daily 9-5, that she has little time left for me.

Anyway, back to the post. This would be our third and fourth day in Boracay, and also our last day in the Philippines, which was spent in Clark. After the adventures of the previous day, I have basically come to a daft conclusion that the adventurous life of being a badass, cliff diving, treasure looting, womanizing pirate, was not my particular cup of tea.

I was still pretty shaken and still felt like I was floating in the sea whenever I closed my eyes, so we decided to take it easy and just spend the day enjoying the sun and laying on the beach.

It was another beautiful day in Boracay and going through our pictures now, I’m still plenty amazed at how beautiful this place is!

  • The Gown

I have a confession to make, although our wedding ceremony was held 4 months ago, I’m still very much in love with my wedding gown.

I still cant stop myself from looking at it, either in pictures or the dress itself. I was telling myself how lucky I was to be able to find the one gown that I have been dreaming for.

I wanted it to be simple yet elegant. Most of the gowns that I saw in the bridal shops are either too complicated (with a lot of beads, fake crystals or sequins) or were too plain (zero details ==” ).

When I was young I always day dreamed about how my wedding gown would look like. I’ve always thought about a heart shape cut and of cox a long train… This is how brides are supposed to look like, like a princess I would say hahaha. Time passes and we grow up, some people might have changed their mind on the design of their wedding but I didnt.

So when I was hunting for my gown I still picked the same cut hahaha. As expected I couldn’t find one in Malaysia but I found it in Taiwan.

Big thank you to Dudu who found it for me when I was busy looking at other gowns.

She came to me with the gown and shouted, “Bobo, R u looking for something like this?” The moment I saw it I knew it’s the one!

Princess gown, heart shaped cut with beaded details around the waist… Simple yet elegent

  • Our Honeymoon – Boracay I

Yahooo, honeymoon post!!! I have been super busy doing housework (no more maid =[ ) and celebrating CNY so I totally forgot to blog about our trip to Boracay.

Not sure if you have read my first post about Borcay yet, if you haven’t pls read it here before you continue reading this post! It’s sort of like a prelude to this post.

Since I have already mentioned about the time to travel from M’sia to Boracay, I shall not repeat it here. Just a little advise for those who are travelling to Boracay soon, make sure that you save around 1000 pesos through out the journey. You will have to pay 250 peso (environmental fee and terminal fee) from the Caticlan jetty to Boracay island, then another 150 pesos when u return from Boracay to the jetty.

Not to forget, you will have to also pay airport taxes in the airports too! So if u’re travelling to Boracay like me from KUL-Clark- Kalibo, you will have to pay airport tax in Clark (450 pesos for international flights) and Kalibo (150 pesos for domestic)! So please make sure you have enough money to pay taxes, pay extra fees and spend there.

My comfortable outfit for our flight from KL to Clark. I got this baseball jacket from H&M kids, it was around RM99 hahah super worth it!!!

I’m going to skip Clark and go straight to day one in Boracay. If you want to know anything about Clark, please email me.

  • The Next Chapter – Our ROM

Back to the long awaited posts hehehe, our wedding post.

Time passes super fast like a rocket because we have been married for almost 3 months edi! A few of my friends ask, “How’s ur married life now? Becoming a tai tai now a?.” I seriously wish to be a tai tai man, dont have to work just stay home and do nothing but another side of me keeps telling myself it’s not good to be a tai tai because u will have all the time in your life to nag on your husband haha. The only reason is because you’ll be bored and slowly turn into an aunty… This scares the hell out of me so working is way better!

Back to our ROM post, we were supposed to register on the 20th of October (that’s our tea ceremony) but all the officers were all fully booked! End of the year is seriously all packed with weddings especially during the dragon year ==” I was quite upset when they told us that all their officers are fully booked because we have already planned everything! Then Jo came out with this brilliant idea, we can just pretend to sign and exchange vows on the 20th Oct! Why not? It sounds fun so we signed our papers a few days before our wedding in the  Shah Alam office.

Our ROM was held on the 20th of October at Jo’s neighborhood club house. The theme of our ROM was romantic colors but mainly I requested for pastel pinks.

I think I will just let all the pictures do all the talking! Pictures are all edited by myself =)

I bought all the fake flower petals from China, it was around RM1 for 150 pcs super cheap!
