After a short tanning session, we showered then headed off to Ubud town again for lunch! Took a picture at the lobby while waiting for our free shuttle to town. I love the natural curls on my hair when I don’t dry my hair completely after swimming.

For lunch, we went to have Babi Guling in Ubud town.

Since the weather was super good we decided to check out a few hipster cafes before heading back to our hotel. We walked to this cool cafe a few blocks away which JO found on Google haha.

I love how they customized the normal plastic chairs in to a rocking chair! It’s a pretty cool place to just chill for dessert and coffee!

Because it’s a hipster cafe, Jo’s coffee came in a tray with a glass of water and also a cookie.

 

Then we took our sweet time to walk around town, the weather was burning hot but I’m not complaining because I want tanned skin! Saw this super cute looking Land Cruiser at the roadside and I told Jo If I were to stay here this will be my car =)

Also found everyone’s fav Teh Botol less sugar! I tried the normal ones before but it’s way too sweet but the less sugar version is way better and I LOVED IT!

Went back to our villa change into another set of bikini and continue tanning! I can get used to this kind of life! You might also realized my bikinis are getting smaller and smaller because this set is perfect for sun tanning yo! No ugly tan lines after that =)

I’m very hardworking so I changed into another set of swimwear then took a few shots for an advertorial haha.

Bubble bath just because I brought my LUSH bubble bar along!

Our stay comes with a complimentary tea from 3-5pm everyday so we went to check it out. They served local desserts at the tea.

After our tea, we took a stroll around the hotel and checked out the beautiful rice field.

For our last night in Bali we tried out an upscale satay restaurant called Arang in Ubud. Im in love with the interior of the restaurant, it’s something that I would love my next future house to look like!

Arang has many different types of satay from the classic satay to tender beef skewers served on a hot stone! I decided to go for something that we dont get to eat in Msia which was this Rib Eye Steak satay that was served on a sizzling hot stone! It was pretty yummy, the beef was so tender and you can control doneness of the meat yourself. If you prefer medium then leave it on the stone longer =)

Jo decided to go for something classic so he ordered a Bali Pork Satay which was pretty good too =) If you’re in Ubud go ahead and give it a try, they open for lunch and dinner!

The next morning it was time to head home so we took our time to get ready in the morning then walked to our breakfast area to have breakkie! I ordered mie goreng, and JO ordered their big breakfast. The Chinese girl inside me still prefers having noodle for breakfast more than sausages lol.

After a long breakfast we went back to the room to take a few more shots of the room before packing. Im in love with Wapa Di Ume so much because it’s so quiet and the interior is just something that is totally different from the usual hotels that we stay in.

I will definitely visit Bali again and again. Thanks Bali for the perfect weather and warm hospitality!

Continued from my previous post

I woke up super early at 6am thanks to jetlag, took my sweet time to get up from the comfy bed, get ready then take pictures of the sunrise at the balcony haha.

Then I took a little walk around the hotel and checked out their facilities. Too bad that the weather was too cold for a morning swim.

After breakfast I met up with the group and we went island hopping in the coolest boat ever! It looks like a pirate ship hahaha.

The weather on the way to Sipan Island was pretty good and the view was amazing.

The journey was around 1 hour from Dubrovnik so we had plenty of time to take pictures on the boat and to enjoy the cool breeze.

Sipan Island is famous for its very laid-back ambiance, and if you’re looking to just chill by the sea, this island is perfect for you. We werealso given the opportunity to visit the summer home for one of the richest families in Dubrovnik. The building is so well kept with a lot of historical items such as this fully equipped kitchen.

Then we visited another island which is 15min away from Sipan, it’s called Kolocep Island. That’s our tour guide and she was one of the extras in GOT. She appeared in Season 2 as a market seller so she shared a lot of behind-the-scenes of GOT with us.

The water is crystal clear and every where in this island is so picture worthy!

Our lunch was at Villa Ruza a beautiful restaurant that over looks the sea.

I’m quite amazed that their fresh seafood salad is so damn delicious! They only season it with olive oil and a bit of lemon juice and it turns out super good!

After a long lunch, we walked back to our boat and ended our island hopping tour! We were supposed to visit one more island but the weather was bad so we had no choice but to head back to town.

Then it was free time for us to head back to the hotel to rest and change into a nice outfit for our farewell dinner at night. I couldn’t believe 2 days passed by so fast, it feels like I still havent had the chance to really explore the town yet. I’m so glad that I extended my trip for another 3 days!

Our dinner was at Posat, a beautiful restaurant that’s located right in front of the City Gates.

They served a pre dinner appetizer wine which was pretty strong for me haha.

Managed to capture this beautiful night view from the restaurant. Our tour ended but I’m not done with Dubrovnik just yet, because I will be meeting Jo and our adventures will begin once I meet up with him!

I cant wait to climb the City Walls again and visit Lokrum Island the next day!

Last but not least, thanks to Turkish Airlines for the wonderful opportunity and Dubrovnik Tourism for the warm hospitality. It was like a dream come true for me and Jo.

For those who are interested to visit Dubrovnik or Croatia for that matter, I will recommend you to check out Turkish Airlines because they have connecting flights from KL through Istanbul and if you choose a longer layover, you can even get a free city tour of Istanbul! I will separate my Istanbul 12 hour layover experience in another post so stay tuned!

Let me start from way before I got this offer to visit this beautiful country.

So, 2 years ago me and Jo were planning which country we should visit. We knew we wanted to go to the beach because both of us love beaches! I thought about Santorini because everyone has been telling me it’s a MUST visit place but we are not into Santorini because it’s too mainstream lol. Suddenly, JO was like why not we visit Croatia? I was like What? Where? and how do u spell a? Jo googled image Dubrovnik to me I straight away said YES!

That’s how Dubrovnik, Croatia has been in our must-visit-country-list since 2 years ago. We planned to visit last year but failed because we moved into our new place and we spent most of our budget on renovations and all. So we told ourselves, it’s ok we go in 2016, and we set our goal to visit Croatia in 2016 and WE DID IT!

I feel so lucky that we managed to visit this beautiful country as planned and to make even more awesome, I received a fully sponsored trip from Turkish Airlines to visit Dubrovnik, Croatia while we were in the midst of planning! I still cant believe the timing!

This sponsored trip was a 4D3N trip and then I extended another 3 nights in Dubrovnik so JO can meet me for the rest of my stay.

Ok, let me go through everything with u guys with pictures!

I took a mid night flight from KUL to Istanbul and had a 5 hour transit in the airport. It was my first time visiting Istanbul airport so everything was super new to me hahaha. Finally, it was time to board my connecting flight from Istanbul to Dubrovnik, my final destination.

My flight from Istanbul to Dubrovnik was the first flight in this route so we were welcomed with desserts and drinks at the boarding gate!

I was also greeted with a small little door gift in the plane. The duration of the flight was around 2 hours.

Once we boarded, we were given a rolled letter as a menu on the flight. It feels like I was in the scene of GOT haha.

My breakfast of the day, a few different types of cheese with chicken slice. I really like it when they serve cheese and biscuits in the morning! I also tried out their homemade lemonade which was really tasty.

Before I doze off, we were all given a tag so that they can recognize us during the ground tour. This trip that I joined was a media trip, so I was the only blogger in the trip but I’m so glad that I joined because I got to know editors and writers from countries like Canada, Turkey, Taiwan, Japan and Korea!

When we landed we were greeted with water canons and also a traditional dance.

Then we went straight to the press conference and lounge for more local food!

I couldn’t wait to explore the city when I was in the bus ride from airport to our first destination, Dubrovnik Cable car ! The weather that day was perfect, not too hot and it was really sunny! It’s a perfect day for us to explore the Old City! Look at the view on the way up the hill!

We had our 3 course lunch at Panorama Restaurant. My first time seeing such big piece of tuna hahahaha. it was also my first time trying fresh seafood salad that only had seafood and no vegetables. Their seafood isreally fresh especially the octopus!

Then right after lunch, we met up with our walking-tour guide so he can show us around the Old City  while sharing some history of this place. I was trying to take pictures of the flag (4th pic), the tour guide mentioned the country of this flag does not longer exist which i find it pretty interesting. Croatia was part of Yugoslavia before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Well if you’re GOT fan, this is where Arya Stark got stabbed by the Waif and she jumped into a river. This is also one of the City Gates of the Old City. (3rd pic)

Look at the water and the buildings! I really want to revisit this place again. This is where the rich park their boats.

Every corner of the Old City is picture worthy. I’m so glad I brought Sony A7 to this trip!

Then we slowly moved on to City Walls!

I was standing at the top of the City Walls and it was where GOT filmed, The House of the Undying.

After 20 mins walk on the Walls,we headed down to the main street of the Old City.

I had to take a picture of the famous walk of shame down from the Sept of Balor in GOT!

There are a lot of small little alleys along the main street, that’s where you can find restaurants, shops and also Game of Thrones souvenir shops haha.

After few hours of exploring the Old City, we headed back to our hotel to check-in and get some rest before the Gala Dinner. The view of the lobby is insanely beautiful, over looking blue seas and cliffs.

I was super satisfied with my stay at Rixos Libertas Hotel. It’s spacious, clean with a modern interior design and not to forget I also got the sea view room with a huge balcony!

After 2 hours of rest plus freshening up, we hopped on to our bus and headed off to the Gala Dinner that was held in a fortress.

The Gala dinner was in Club Revelin! it was a 500 year old fortress!

The table setting makes me feels like I was in a scene of Beauty and The Beast hahaha.

I ended my night earlier than everyone else because I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer, stupid jetlag T_T. I went back to the hotel and called it the night at around 10pm haha.

The plan for the next day was to visit a few small islands called the Elaphite Islands so it’s better I get some sleep so I can have more energy to explore new places!
