Set a Goal, Go for It!

This is more of a self motivational post so it might sound a little like I’m talking to myself LOL.

Remember I blogged about my workout routine before? I guess my body is getting used to the routine so my body shape has remained the same, it’s consider OK but not good enough!!

I have always wanted to achieve the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s body shape since 2010 but I have failed so far. The reason is pretty simple, it’s because I cant seem to stick to one thing long enough! Give me around 1-2 months then I will be like NO NEED LIAO LA!

But this time will be different… I hope MUST

Not sure if you have seen the trend now, it’s all about looking healthy and toned! Bye, skinny bitchhh LOL

Anyway, today I decided to start eating clean and drink a lots of water! Eating clean means less carbs, no snacks, no sugar, more protein, more fruits and only water.

Less carbs is one of my biggest challenges because I love eating rice!!! I cannot
resist when I see a bowl of rice in front of me. I always tell ppl one day if I’m poor I will just eat rice ONLY I dont mind lol… This addiction has to come to an end, so I started cutting down carbs again… I only eat around 2 -3 table spoons of rice.

Drinking more water is easy because I just got myself a new bottle hahahah.

20140324_214647More fruits because I have finally found my favorite fruit, sweet plums… Jo always cut it so nicely for me, so I eat them as snacks at night!

20140324_182827I try to also eat Subway at least 2 -3 times a week because it’s healthy, low in fat and calories!

For lunch, if I’m hungry I will prefer to have Japanese because I can eat salmon sashimi set! Salmon has very high protein and low fat! The set comes with a salad and soup so the portion is good for me! I personally think Japanese food really helps if you’re thinking to lose weight but dont eat tempura and all those fried stuff la.

Some of you were saying “Aiyo u so skinny edi y still workout?” I think some of you must have misunderstood the definition of “workout” because workout doesnt mean that you want to lose weight. Workout is to tone your body and make you look better!

This is a picture of me recently hahaha, I took it because I want to compare the BEFORE and AFTER results hehe. Sorry if it disturbs u hahha, if not how to compare wor…

The biggest concern I have about my body is my tummy hahha. I want a better looking tummy like this…

Hahaha not too asking too much right? My current workout focuses more on my abs because I will be heading to Lang Tengah for our girls trip in July! I NEED to look good for my bikinis! Sighhh, dont know when only I will be able to achieve this abs T____T

I have been going to gym with Shirley and Jo for 5 days this past week! Most of the time we attended classes like Fastfit, Body Pump, Floating Yoga and also TRX.

So far, Fastfit and Body Pump are both ok for me cox I can still follow most of their routines but not TRx or Floating Yoga…

TRX is the hardest because their workout focuses a lot on upper body and core strength, which I do not have, lol. Also I cant seem to balance myself on a half ball to do crunches T___T I nearly killed myself that day at TRX class hahaha. Just hearing that you know how torturing edi. Shirley was a pro, she did a great job whereas I kept falling off from the ball hahaha. Shirley was like, “Practice more ok edi one!”. Jo kept laughing at me because when everyone was doing biceps and chest routines, I was doing my own thing as I was too tired edi…

The day after my abs hurts like fuckkkkkkkkk, I cant even laugh HAHHAA.

NEVER MIND!!!!!

“I try to also eat Subway at least 2 -3 times a week because it’s healthy, low in fat and calories!” <— It depends on what kind of dressing is used in the sandwich too 🙂

Haha yea but I always stick with Sweet onion and honey mustard, both are fat free! The total fat of my sandwich is around 200! should be okay right?

Depends on how strict you want to be. Personally I think sweet onion and honey mustard are fine.nnThe main villain to look out for is sugar in all forms and hydrogenated oil. Natural fruit sugar or honey is alright in moderation but anything else on the ingredient label that ends with ‘…ose’ (fructose, sucrose, glucose, etc) avoid if possible.nnI’m not an expert but I’ve done some reading up. One of the most compelling arguments for the things I’ve mentioned is by a Dr Robert Lustig of University of California. You can see his presentation at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBnniua6-oMnnHope it helps 🙂

Your post motivates me to be more consistent~~ Totally can relate to this post coz I never stick my routine so I decided to burn a bit of money to take up ballet class.. and then suddenly many people told me I slim down (although my weight maintained) and my mom said she can FINALLY see my waist! nnI have also starting to count my calories intake coz my ballet teacher announce that there will be a concert thingy for us at the end of the year.. I hope I can get to my desire shape before the the performance! The only thing I find hard is to cut down my sugar intake or taking less refine food because I can’t resist cakes T_T Haha sorry I blabber too much.. ><
