Bobo’s Day- Bangkok Edition!

Halo, I just got back from my 4 day trip to Bangkok and it felt like I was there for a month! I believe time paused when I was having fun.

This Bangkok trip is little bit different from my previous Bangkok trips because we went with my family! It was like a very last minute family trip because Jo and I bought our tickets a few months ago, then my family decided to tag along! Believe it or not, it’s our very first family trip out of the country besides Taiwan.

I didnt have a chance to take many pictures because I was so occupied with showing them around, eating like a monster and shopping like a shopaholic hahahaha.

Since I’m a responsible blogger *ahem I managed to snap a few pictures using my Note2 so that I can share with everyone what I did in Bangkok!

BonChon chicken serves the BEST Korean fried chicken! I think it tastes way better than 4 fingers in Sinagpore because 4 fingers is way too salty =( The best part is that they serve it with sticky rice hahaha.

image

Had dinner at a Thai restaurant in Siam Paragon and it tasted pretty good too! The portions are a bit small though so we had to keep ordering until the waiter was like laughing at us because he was scared that we over ordered and cant finish our food. Surprisingly, we finished everything and we tot the bill is going to cost us a bomb but ended up the total bill was just 2000+ baht ==”

imageWhile waiting for my shopaholic mother to satisfy her shopping cravings in ZARA, we camwhored hahaha.

My LOTD on the second day in Bangkok, matching top and pants from Siam Square for 450 Baht, heels from Jeffery Campbell (new JC added to my JC collection!) and mini sling bag from Chanel =)

image

Our “purchases” of the day from Chatuchak and Siam Square.

Shibuya honey toast is a MUST when I go to Bangkok!

image

Then we tried their new Ferrero toast, if u’re a fan of Ferrero Rocher you will definitely love this!

image

I realized in Bangkok, a lot of girl wear hotshorts with graphic Tees and a mini sling bag so you have to dress like the locals =)

imageUs waiting for our turn to eat our favorite Shibuya honey toast. Pink lenses make my eyes look like cats, super scary ==”

Family portrait with our crazy purchases on our first day in Bangkok! My sister and I decided to spend a lot more than we budgeted for Bangkok on somethings that we dont need T____T I feel super guilty on buying my Chanel Boy because of the price. Not sure about you but for me I realized that I tend to spend without thinking when I’m on holidays. I stood in Chanel and stared at the bag for 10 mins and decided to just buy it because I saw many girls in Bangkok carrying mini sling bags and it matches their outfit perfectly! So I was like ok la maybe I need one also ='( Bye bye my money.

We had dinner in SOMTAM for 2 days in a row because my parents LOVE it a lot!!!

image

Not sure if any of you follow her on Instagram (@pearypie), I was super excited when I found out that she would be in Central on the same day as us hehehe. I was super happy when I saw her face to face in the midst of the crazy crowd. Didnt get to take a picture with her because there was a long queue! Super love her makeup tutorials!!

image

I’ve seen a few Thai girls on Instagram going to the launch of Magnum Cafe so we went there to check it out. The interior and decoration is really cute because it’s like Alice in Wonderland crossed with Willy Wonka, but their desserts were just pretty ordinary ==

Our Bangkok trip was super awesome and fun. We woke up at 8am every morning and started to shop, eat and get massages everyday! It’s like a perfect vacation for people like us who are occupied with work everyday =( One thing bad about our trip was that I accidentally booked the old wing of I-Residence Silom and their rooms were aging and small T____T So, to those who are thinking to stay in I-Residence Silom please make sure that you are booking the new wing not old wing ya!
