How Can I live Without You, WiFi….

Sponsored Post

A few of you have been asking me how do I keep myself connected to the internet 24 hours when I was in Japan. The answer is a personal mobile hotspot WiFi device aka pocket WiFi.

I have to admit I cant live without the internet, not even for a second… Ok, I’m exaggerating a little bit, maybe 1 second I can but definitely not 10 seconds LOL.

I’m 100% sure it’s not just me, everyone of you are! Just that you havent realized it yet.

So when I was in Japan 2 years ago, I super regretted not renting a pocket WiFi. I can only connect to the net when I was in the hotel lobby which is pretty pathetic.

This year, I told myself no matter how, I will surely get myself a pocket WiFi because I need to keep everyone updated on where I was and what I was doing LOL.

That is when I realized how important a pocket WiFi is… You must be saying “Aiyo, it’s only useful when u’re overseas because we cant use your phone.” Well, I have to say, you’re wrong because you never know, you might need one in Malaysia too!

Just today, I went to DOME with Gin for a little yam cha session with my family. Gin took out her iPad and kept trying to connect to the FREE WiFi provided by the restaurant. She was trying to connect a few times but failed. Then she decided to just ask the waiter what’s the reason, the waiter replied, “Our WiFi rosak.” T____T I know right, that’s what I hate to hear most from a stranger. This kind of incident doesn’t just happen once or twice, I’ve faced it a few times edi! It’s either the WiFi rosak or the connection is super slow until you think it’s better to use your own data instead. I personally hate to use the hotspot on my phone because it drains out my battery and data like crazy. Especially when you know you will be out for a while. I don’t carry a power bank with me either because it’s too heavy

222I guess YES heard my complaints about restaurant WiFi and hotspot data, they launched a personal mobile hotspot WiFi device called Huddle XS. It’s lightweight, compact and ultraportable. It can fit into our handbags or even pockets! The most awesome thing about Huddles XS is, it can be shared by up to 5 devices, so you can share 4G internet with your ipad, ur father’s ipad, ur sister’s laptop and your friends’ smartphones (when they run out of data lol) without having to slow down the speed of the connection! You can now share a super reliable connection on all your devices with speeds of up to 20Mbps, and all that with one minimal bill!

Besides that, you can also use it in a moving car without any lag or buffering because Yes 4G has the largest 4G network in Malaysia, with coverage of 85% of the population in Peninsula Malaysia! Most importantly, the battery life can last up to 6 hours! You can now watch TVB drama or Korean drama while travelling back to you hometown for Chinese New Year! (IF ONLY U’RE THE PASSANGER A!!!) Sometimes I might need to live blog or cover some events, and this would be awesome as I could do work my laptop wherever I am, and this is true for those who are constantly working on the go as well.

You don’t even have to worry if you exceed your quota cause your connection speed will be limited to 128kbps, and not cut off immediately. This way you can still use your connection to check your IMs or emails, but not fast enough to watch movie la… If you run out of quota before your billing period, you can purchase “Super Boosters” to add to your quota and resume enjoying your highspeed 4G connection!
