Super back dated post hahaha! We went to Singapore last month and it was my first ever girls trip! I have never been on a girls trip before and I've always wanted one because I know it's going to be super fun! Imagine being away without your significant other, and only with a bunch of girls, hahahhaa. Isn't it an awesome chance to test your market again ==" Jo was jokingly saying, "Make sure u girls dont bring guys back to your hotel ah and dont get too drunk ah!" hahaha
Anyway, the main purpose of this trip was to visit Universal Studios in Singapore. I've always wanted to go USS but Jo hates theme parks so much that he's banned us from visiting after our experiences in Disneyland, California T___T So I'd have to go with my girls or sisters if I wanted to go to a theme park.
We were quite unlucky because the haze was quite bad on the day that we reached SG. The weather was super hazy but we had no choice but to walk around with our masks on...
You can tell how yummy they were just by looking at Cynthia's expression haha.
We were jokingly saying the store owner sure very angry at us because we only bought 1 scoop for the 8 of us to share hahaha
Even on the first day, we already planned to drink our hearts out wtf hahaha. Khei brought us to this bar where you get to buy beer like buying stocks, the price will go up and down depending on the demand of the beer. The more ppl buy, the more expensive it gets =)
We stayed in 5footinn in Boat Quay, which I will strongly recommend for everyone to stay if u're going in group! They have rooms for 2, 3, 4 or 6! I stayed in a room for 3 with Michelle and Joanne. The room is clean and simple which is like a hostel. The toilet and bathrooms are shared but they were really clean!
We woke up at around 8am to get ready and headed to USS, the highlight of our trip!
A group picture in front of the famous globe.
Masks on and off hahhaa
Everyone looking super excited while queuing for our first show/ride =)
The guides for the day, Shirley and Michelle, were in charge of reading the map and deciding which rides we should go on next! We were glad that we bought express tickets because the queues at each ride was really crazy! Express tickets really saved us a lot of time in queue and waiting! We get to ride on each ride the moment we reached the entrances and it was awesome!
I used to be very very scared of roller coasters because I hate the feeling of dropping at high speed. The moment I got there I was about to give up on trying it until Shirley and Michelle came and pulled me up to the ride without even letting me decide. I kept asking them, "Will i die ah? U SURE I WONT DIE ISSIT???" Hahaha, but no regrets it was so much fun!!! I was so proud of myself because I managed to step out of my comfort zone! I took the red roller coaster but not the blue colored one =)
The heroes of the day hahaha
Picture with Egyptians so we acted like them =)
Picture with Pinky Fairy from Sesame Street =)
A picture with the sexy Marilyn Monroe
Newspaper stand also we want to take pic!
We left USS at around 4-5pm then headed back to have yummy fish head noodles and fried chicken, and then finally going back to our hotel to get ready to PARTY! The party part was super awesome and unforgettable but I wont share it because it was too wild. Hahaha, can you imagine, we were asking each other the same question, "Was it Bobo's hen's night? Because we partied like it was." Like I said, partying with my girls is the most awesome thing ever!
On our last day in SG, we had no time to explore the city so we went to the closest Bak Kut Teh stall to try SG's BKT. It tastes really different from Msia's because they use a lot of white pepper corns instead.
Singapore trip with my girls was a succees and I hope that we can do it every 6 months or so hahhaa. For the next trip, we're thinking that we should go somewhere further like BKK, Phuket, or Taiwan! No matter where, I'm sure as long as we are all going together, and with enough drinks, we will have a awesome time. Yeah, pretty much like a alcoholic group hahaha.
