Welcome to Our Room…

Halo, I’m on a half day leave today so I figured I should blog about my new room before it gets messy and dirty hahahha

I have finally moved into Jo’s house and am staying with his family now.

So far so good,  everyone treats me really good, thank you for asking hahaha

His parents insisted that we should move into the master bedroom so we did.

We did a little renovation before our wedding! I always wanted a walk in closet ever since I watched Sex & The City hahaha

My dream came true when JO said I’m going to build u a walk in closet! The master bedroom is big enough for a walk in closet and a partition in the middle of the room haha

It’s really hard to decide which theme we should go for our room, I wanted something sweet and clean such as white and laces but Jo says NO!

Expected it because he’s a guy and it wont be just MY room, it will be OUR room so I respected his opinion.

Jo and I always love American house designs, it’s a mix and match idea and they tend to incorporate all sort of colors or designs into their house.

It turns out looking pretty cool and unique.

After a few weeks of brainstorming, we decided on an Industrial concept, it’s all about wood, bricks, and metal.

I’m so proud of our idea, seriously…

Here are a few pictures of our room!

Jo got the Hello Kitty balloon for me during my birthday, if you’re wondering haha. The brick wallpaper looks so freaking cool, it really helps to show off the industrial theme in our room! We got the standing lamp and computer desk from IKEA!

Our little pictures and TV area, and just so you know this is the partition that I mentioned.

We sourced all the frames from IKEA! It’s pretty cheap and it fits perfectly into our theme!

The most exciting part is our walk in closet! It’s not too big but it fits all our clothes especially mine ==” Jo took the last column of the closet and the rest are mine hohoho. It makes perfect sense that girls have more clothes than guys la!

Jo designed this dressing table for me! I’m madly in love with it! The exposed light bulbs suits our theme perfectly! I had to unscrew some of the light bulbs because it’s way too bright and warm hahaha. I got the little furry stool for around RM130 and it looks super cute!!!

Like I have mentioned before this is our little hang out spot in our room hahaha

I used one column of the closet as my accessories area. Im still thinking how should I decorate this area!

Bought this for RM10, super cheap and super nice! This is where I keep all my rings and bracelets!

Nothing much to show in the bathroom la, We didnt really have time to decorate this place yet…

The master bathroom comes with an outdoor shower that I’ve never used before. The other day I was thinking to take a shower outdoor like in a movie but it has no hot water so I gave up hahhaha ==”

Well, I guess that it for my room.

Im so thankful that we have an awesome room for ourselves. I dont mind spending all my weekends in our room cuddling and watching movies.

Thanks to Jo and his parents for making my dream come true.
