Obviously, this post is going to be all about Sakura blossoms at night in Ueno Park, Tokyo!
It was after our pre wedding shoot and we were quite exhausted but we insisted we should take a walk around Ueno park at night.
When we reached there it was already crowded with people. Something great about Sakura viewing parties is that the Japanese don't really care whether it is weekdays or the weekends! They will still come out and enjoy the moment because the blossoms dont last very long. It was also the first day of "full blossom" so the park was packed with people.
Even though the park was packed, it's still super clean!!! Gosh, when will Malaysians learn to behave like this?? BRING YOUR OWN RUBBISH HOME!!
Lanterns hanging every where and it was so beautiful!
I cant tell whether it was pink sakura or it was white because there was pink lighting.
Then we have a purple sakura tree too!
See so pretty right the sakura behind! I was like walking into a painting.
I told Jo I wanted to match my outfit with the Sakura so I wore pink stockings!!
We walked around for more than an hour and I just couldn't stop myself from repeating, "Darling, It's so beautiful!!"
Thank god we brought along the D300, if not, I dont think my point and shoot can capture the beauty of the Sakura!
The Sakura trees were like huge umbrellas covering the whole street!
More pictures of me cox I cant help myself, hahha
See, clean or not!!! They were having picnics ok! With all the food wrappers, bottles, cans, and plastics but non of them are on the road! They freaking recycle every single thing ok! *salute
I love how the Japanese are so polite, disciplined, and well mannered. I came to Ueno park early in the morning and saw a few of them placing plastic tarps on the floor with their names on it but NO ONE takes over their spot ok!! It's like they were being taught in school that you can never take ppl's spot when there is a matt with their name written on it. This is the way they "book" their spots for their cherry blossom parties. COOL OR NOT!!
Dont say I complain about Malaysia a, you try to do this and hide behind the tree and see! I promise you, you can never find your freaking tarp ever again because someone threw it in the dustbin or destroyed it edi la.
A cute Japanese girl helped us to take a picture =)
After that we went to Shibuya for dinner!
We wanted to try Japanese BBQ so we went to a random BBQ restaurant in Shibuya haha
A very small restaurant but I love the interior.
