My MacBook Pro hard disk has officially died on me, I lost 50% of my pictures.
I’m super upset….
The reason y I bought a MBP was because I trusted it. Jo owns the first generation MBP and it’s still fine (6-7 years)
Why do u have to die on me when I have no backup at all.
Trust me, I was about to kill myself when the technician says:” I’m pretty sure it’s your hard disk and I think you lost all ur stuff.”
I’m still very depressed and pissed at the thought of it.
I know I can send it to some professional to recover my stuff; Jo called and asked for the price.
The guy says around RM1600.
FUCK MY LIFE BIG TIME!
I’m questioning myself….
Is it worth RM1600? They are all my memories… It can never be replaced.
Maybe Im being too much of a drama queen but I just cant get over it.
Lesson learned : Never ever say I will do it later cause somehow you will regret for not doing it on the spot.
I waited too long to back up my stuff, now it’s too late.

March 5, 2011 at 10:06 amI have always enjoy reading your blog and I’m sad to hear that you had lost some of your files. If I was you, I will pay to get my pictures back. I know it’s a lot of money, but personally I think memories are priceless, it can’t be quantified nor measure. But it’s only my personal opinion. I hope you will have other ways of recovering your files without putting a huge dent on your pocket.

Devin- Im glad that you enjoy reading my blog. I know… all my memories gone in one second wtf. Anyway, I have sent my computer to Mac technician to replace a new hard disk. As for my old hard disk I think I will send it to some professional to backup my files. Hope they can help! =( finger crossed!
