Fuuuuuu *Blowing dust away from my blog
So sorry for the lack of updates, you know how people get in to lazy slump for a period of time then realize “WALAU, I CANNOT DO THIS ANYMORE!” Yeah, that was me a few days ago.
This morning I woke up and I was telling myself, “die also you need update your blog.” Well, I think I’ve been pretty productive because I managed to arrange and edit our wedding banquet pictures and also blog! I will blog about our banquet next time k because there is like 150 pictures, so I need time to narrow them down into 15 pictures! O, god….
Hmmm it has been a while since I did a ‘Bobo’s Day’ so here are some interesting stuff that I encountered recently.
Jo and I dont usually eat supper because supper = FAT and not eating supper = SLIM. Hahahaha, whenever we get hungry at night we will go to sleep or eat fruits! Since it was Friday, Jo was like, “why not we have McD for supper?” I was like “BRING IT ON!” We dont usually eat supper but when we do WE DO IT BIG! Bring on all the fats and calories, who scared who!!! We felt so guilty the minute we finished the meal. Fats and calories, you win!
MIL wasnt home last week which means I would be the chef for the week. My mum cooks the best Taiwan minced pork noodles. We paired it with a simple stir fried broccoli, one of my super favorite vegetables. During ‘dumpling festival’, Jo bought back some meat dumplings with salted eggs, so I fried broccoli again! Yes, I had a lot of broccoli last week because MIL doesn’t really like brocoli. Then that day I was telling Jo how I missed the steak that he made for us the last time then, WALA, you name it you get it! Grilled flank steak and salad for the two of us.
Went to Zouk a few weeks ago for Mei Yan’s hens night! It was so fun because it was my first ladies night in ZOUK! I have never been to Zouk with a bunch of girls before! Shirley and I were joking around saying it’s time for us to test our market because we were going to be single for the night ==” The moment we sat down, the guy at the next table saw me and asked, “where is your husband??” I was like, “EH ladies night la!”
Went to JC baby girl’s cafe launch the other day. Her cafe, Mr & Ms is located at Oasis Square, Ara Damansara. If u’re looking to have brunch at a new place, I strongly suggest you try out her cafe. I loved their scrambled eggs with salmon & big breakfast! If you’re up for dessert, you can also try their cakes from Twelve Plus One. My favorite is the orange cheese cake!
We hosted a little BBQ night at our place last week. I still remember our first BBQ was with same group of frens last year, celebrating our engagement. We didnt have enough food during our previous BBQ so this time I kept forcing Jo to buy more food so the dilemma wont happen again. Ended up buying way too much food, so much that we forced everyone to da bao back haha.
Well, I guess thats pretty much about it… Sigh, my life is quite boring right =(
