I’m supposed to blog about NAPBAS and my getaway with Jo from a few weeks ago but I kinda have to push them all aside!
I have something more important to blog about!
The main reason is that I don’t want to delay this post cause I will definitely forget all the details and it will turn out to be like a normal picture overloaded post.

I’m officially ENGAGED to the love of my life, Jo.
It happened so sudden that I didn’t even dress up, comb my hair, touch up my make up or maybe change in to a nicer pair of pants!
Long story short, Jo, me and his close friends decided to go up to Cameron Highlands and spend our Christmas there.
So, Michelle came up with an idea that we should TOTALLY do Secret Santa when we’re there!
A few weeks before, we drew names and we would have to keep it secret ’till the day we opened the presents!
I will blog about the trip soon k! (told you ma, important post first!!)
Bla bla…
The other day when Jo went to buy his Secret Santa present I was there and the minute I saw the nicely wrapped present I was like…
Me: Waw, so nice one!!! For who??
Jo: You know I wont tell u tat right, so stop asking. (Yea, he very cool one)
Me: Im sure it’s for me la cox you wrap it so nicely!
Jo: Keep walking and stop guessing! Dont ruin the game can or not!
So, I kept quiet and I forgot about it after 5 min…
…..
The day before the trip, Jo brought down the gift and left it on the sofa.
Before he went to shower he turned to me and say DONT TOUCH IT! I promised I wont and I seriously didn’t!
But he doesn’t trust me on anything related to surprises because IM SUPER BAD AT IT!
So he decided to….
ziptied the present. ==” I know right…
Im not sure if I should write down all the details or not. I’m afraid you guys might just stop reading because it’s boring…
But,
I dont care! I want to write down every single thing so that I can read it again and again.
….
The day of the trip was finally here and we headed to Cameron Highlands early in the morning.
O yea, I want to say THANK YOU to my readers who warned me about the traffic in Cameron!
Thank god for your comments! We left early and reached our rented house at around 2pm; could be consider early because we still had time to play mahjong. (The jam was intense! It took us 5 hours yo!)
…..
After dinner, we headed back to the house and started the whole Secret Santa thingy!
Something super suspicious happened when we got back to our place..
1. Jo asked me to change into my pajama pants. I was like ok la change lo since you ask me to change. (He never asks me to change into a sloppy outfit)
2. When I finished changing, his friends and him locked me outside the room and shouted we’ll open all the presents without you!!!
Then I shouted from outside the room “Fuck a!!! Let me in and wait for me!” (If you know me well you know that I curse a lot)
Ok, they unlocked the door and I went in.
They suggested that the youngest ones will get to open their present first! (FTS I’m the eldest one)
I was like NOT FAIR LO!!!! But whatever… because no one listens to me anyway, they started with the youngest.
……
It was my turn and I shouted “OMG I knew it, darling! It’s for me!! Im damn good man!”
His friends shouted, “dont read first, take pic first!”, so we posed for a picture. I’ve never ever thought that he would make me a book! HANDMADE a book about “US”.
Seow Hui and RJ walked over and we started reading the book that Jo made.
Michelle was busy taking pictures of me reading the book.
I was trying to flip through all the pages in high speed but Jo insisted tat I should read word by word! I was quite ‘gancheong’ cox everyone was staring at me reading the book. I was quite stressed and couldn’t really focus!
When I reached the page titled as ” The Next Chapter” there was a little door thing and I opened it. The beautiful ring was there and I turned to Jo and say “R u fucking proposing to me now? Serious, r u?”
Jo replied and said, “you have one more thing.” His friend passed him a bouquet of pink roses.
I couldn’t hold it back any longer, I started to tear… As usual, he laughed and his friends were laughing too.
I was still tearing and kept moving away from the roses and him. (I DONT KNOW WHY!!)
I accepted the roses and Jo pulled me closer to him.
Look at me, I cried like a baby! Jo started to tear too. *drama*
He wanted to put the ring on my finger but I said, “wait, you have to kneel down first!!” and Jo replied, “first time ma!!”
Then he knelt like he was praying in the temple and I corrected him by kicking his leg saying, “OMG, not like this la!! One leg only!”
He said, “will you marry me?” I answered, “of cox.”
Then he realized the ring was too small for my fat finger! He scolded me because he said I gave him the wrong size and I’ve no idea when!!!

I think I have never posted a picture of us kissing on my blog before so this is the first picture of us kissing! Sealed with a kiss <3
Then Jo explained to me there was supposed to have a mini handle on the door but it broke. However, I gave him 1000 points for all the effort he made.
It was a simple, sweet and full of effort. It’s definitely something that I like.

I took some closer shots of the book that he made for me. It was indeed the greatest present I have ever received!
The color that I would choose for a gift, red and gold. He remembers every little thing that I said or did.

Chapter I
It’s basically about how and where we met plus a little bit on how he fell in love with me! *shy*
He says he couldnt find the first picture that we took so he drew it out! And also the first sticker pictures that we took.
Chapter II
Things that we did together when we were studying in the States.
We were so lucky that we got to travel around together when we were in the States, we’ve been to Mexico, UK, Paris and around the USA TOGETHER!
Chapter III
We came back to Malaysia for good and we started our new life especially where we are all busy with our own work.
The Next Chapter
after the “The Next Chapter” page, it was a blank page with a box in the middle of the page.
When I opened it I saw the ring! I never ever thought it would be a ring behind this little door. I thought it was a picture of us!
Can you see the details of this page!!! Jo cut it himself using a blade. The box is so prefect and he glued all the pages together so it can hold the ring inside it.
I was living a fairy tale when he proposed. I cant believe that he proposed on our 6th anniversary and he made me a book! We will continue to add in more things that happens throughout our lives into this book so that when we’re old we can read it together.

I asked Jo, “why you didnt invite Bff, Zoe?” He says it will be too obvious if he did tat.
I called Bff right after the proposal, she screamed, and she was so happy for me!
I was so surprised that Jo actually called my parents the day before to asked for their permission. HOW CAN I NOT MARRY HIM!
He knows that my family means more to me than anything else!
I was quite surprised tat my dad actually kept the secret from me!
Everything was so perfect and well planned!

I cant wait till the day that I say “I DO” in front of my family and friends.
