  • DRx Filler

Many of you should already know that I did something to my face to create this perfect face shape, it’s not a secret and I dont see the point of hiding it from anyone. Everyone knows that no one’s born with a perfect face shape so by telling people u didn’t do anything to your face is just plain bullshit.

Whenever someone praises my face I will straight away tell them “It’s all thanks for Dr Jason from DRx and of cox cosmetics that I use hahhaa.” I remember I was a bit against doing botox and filler but now I’m all for it T___T.

So, I went back to DRx to touch up my filler because it has been more than 9 months since I last did my filler. The last time I did it was back in September 2014, and well I personally feel that filler lasts longer than botox because the filler that I did back in 2014 is still there but it’s not as defined as before so I decided to touch up a bit!

DSC07028 Met up with Dr Jason for a little consultation and he suggested me to do a few spots on my face that I have never done before. He suggested I should inject a little filler in my eyebags, lips and also chin! I have never done eyebags and lips before so I’m super excited yet scared haha.

This time the procedure took me longer than before because lips and eyebags are quite challenging and a little painful T__T. I think my pain tolerance is damn low and to save time I didnt apply any numbing cream *iamahero.

If you want to know more about the procedure and the filler that Dr Jason uses please read my previous post here.

I will just go straight to the end result ya!

    Left- Before

    Right- After

You can obviously see my lips are fuller and thicker now! Before that I have very uneven lips so whenever I smile, my expression and mouth looks weird. I’m so glad that I decided to inject filler in my lips because my lips look so thick and pretty now!

    face 2Left- Before

    Right- After

As for my chin, it’s longer and sharper now, my side profile looks so pretty lol. My lips also very nice at the side profile!

DSC07051My front profile, not bad ah! My eyebags are thinner and dark circles are lightened as well.

Another benefit of doing lips is that my lips look so pretty with just a little bit of lipgloss! it’s like 樱桃小嘴(cherry lips) hahaha

IMG_8300More selfie cox prettier liao ma hahha… Which angle also OK!

Thank you DRx and Dr Jason for the awesome job on my face hehehe.

  • CLEANSUI (Japan) Healthy Mineral Drinking Water

I’m sure most of you are aware that Jo and I are currently in the middle of renovating our new place, and something important that we have decided very early on our project that was the water filtration and drinking water for our new home.

At our current place, my MIL is using a famous name-brand Reverse Osmosis (RO) water drinking system that has hot and cold drinking water. I didn’t really learn what was RO water until after a few years of drinking it, but I always felt that the water was weirdly very tasteless and “clean”. RO is actually a process of water filtration that removes chemicals and substances from water, and along with all the naturally occurring minerals that you find in fresh water.  In nature, fresh water contains minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which our body needs.

This is why, if you have every bought a bottle of mineral water vs drinking water at the convenience store, you will find the taste remarkably different!

Not only that, for these types of drinking water system, it is built into their contract where you are required to pay annually for servicing and changing of filters.

When it was our turn to choose a system for our home, I told Jo that we should consider a different system, which could provide clean, but yet healthy drinking water.

About a year ago, I was reading Cheesie’s blog and she did a post on CLEANSUI. I was very interested and eventually I contacted CLEANSUI for our new home. CLEANSUI is one of the leading names in water filtration in Japan, and have recently expanded to many other countries.

A CLEANSUI representative then invited us and Kampungboycitygal for a short demo and to view their range of products as we were both in the midst of planning our renovation and also very keen on their products.

  • Up And Above with P1

1Back in college in the US many years ago, Jo once flew me in a small plane the day he got his pilot’s license. It was a memorable experience as I remember being super happy because not many people get to experience being flown by someone you love. Ever since then I always wondered if I would get the same thrill as flying on a helicopter and I still remember asking Jo to get a helicopter license so that he could teach me how to fly a helicopter too. He was like, “Nah, they’re two different things”. When he graduated as a pilot there were no companies that were hiring so he had no choice but to go into a different field. No doubt, we were both frustrated, Jo couldn’t pursue what he really loved and for me, my dream of flying on a helicopter just sort of ended there haha. We both graduated and entered the lives as working adults until today.

Fast forward to today, while watching the infamous Fifty Shades of Grey (the scene where Christian takes Ana on a helicopter ride with Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do playing in the background) it just hit me ; Why didn’t I think of pursuing my dreams of flying a helicopter years ago? Why did I just let the gates of adulthood stand in the way of my teenage dreams?

And do dreams only come true in movies?

  • Weekend Brunch at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua

    DSC06499

Due to our over-excitement for the day, we woke up real early, around 7am, so we decided to hit the gym. Haha, I was willing to work out even though we were on vacation because I knew our trip was not only about getting tanned, it’s about putting on extra pounds too hahaha.

DSC06495Took a short walk around the hotel before breakfast.

**Warning- This post will be filled with lots and lots of food, if you’re hungry please avoid reading. I’m not responsible for any hunger issues.

  • Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Hotel

*blows away dust from my keyboard

It has been a while since I last updated my blog, there is no excuse for me being MIA. Guilty as charged.

So to make it up to you lovely people, I decided to share about the beautiful hotel that I stayed in Bali. To those who were asking me where did I stay when I visited Bali, this post is specially dedicated to you. *wink

We stayed in Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua, it’s located around 10.8km away from the city center and it’s around 15-20 minutes away from the airport. I have never been to Bali but my impression of Bali is that it’s filled with lots of private villas. As you all know, a lot of people tend to pick Bali as their wedding venue because of the beautiful beaches and luxury villas. So, i told myself one day if i’m really planning to visit Bali I want to stay in one of those luxury hotels, it doesn’t have to be in a villa but it has to be luxurious lol.

Well, my dream came true! Remember the I joined #ESCAPERS15 with Citygal a few months ago and we won a 3 nights stay in Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua? I was super happy because my dream came true! A Bali trip, a luxury hotel and getting to work on my tan, it’s like heaven on earth!

So, we booked the cheapest flight we could find, which was MAS at RM400 round-trip to Bali and booked our stay with Accor Hotel and off we went!

JWL_9976Before heading to Bali, I just couldn’t stop myself from looking at pictures of Sofitel Nusa Dua Bali, it’s just too gorgeous and I couldn’t wait to visit! Finally, the most shared view on social media and review sites was just right in front of eyes.
