Just like every other year, our family will head back to Taiwan to visit my relatives especially my granny during Chinese New Year!

Here are some of the pictures that I took today.

  • It Felt Like Spring…

Ha just came home from the gym and figured I should blog about my Christmas trip to Cameron Highlands before it’s CNY.

As I have mentioned (in this post) we decided to spend our Christmas in Cameron Highlands with Jo’s friends.

We called it the couples trip…

Traveling with couples is quite fun because no one will ever felt left out!

We started our journey quite early, at around 8 am because my lovely readers warned me that it would be super jammed on the way to Cameron.

The jam in Cameron was crazy!!! The worst part was that there was only one way for each direction so…

The first thing we did when we reached our rented house was to put all our presents on the table.

Michelle was so well prepared, she even printed out our names to be tagged on our presents!

It was ‘secret santa’ so we had to stick the names on the presents that we bought one by one in a closed room.

I cant believe that she actually printed our names in 4 sets each!!!

  • 6th Anniversary Dinner

    6 years and counting…

I cant believe it has been SIX years!  To be honest, it felt like it was just yesterday.

Jo is the one who normally decides where we should have dinner when it comes to our anniversary. I will just go wherever he suggests because I only eat cheap food.

I’m not very into expensive and tiny portioned meals, it just wont satisfy my monster tummy!

However, we tend stick with fine dining when it comes to celebrations (the main reason being that I can dress up!).

Jo decided to have our 6th anniversary dinner at the restaurant we went to for our 1st annivesary.

    I know right… super romantic.

It’s an French restaurant located in Changkat, KL

Jo loves this restaurant because he says it feels like home.

  • 6th Anniversary Getaway

Yes, we went to Pulau Langkawi for our 6th Anniversary getaway.

If you’ve been to Langkawi you should know that the whole island is duty free! Every little thing they sell there is duty free!

Im not a big fan of alcohol, chocolates or cigarettes, so to me the place is just an island that has NO FOOD. Well, rather, limited choices when it comes to eateries.

When ever people ask me about Langkawi, my reply is always the same, “Ok la, surprisingly the beach is pretty but the main problem is that there is nothing to eat!”

Ok la, 2 important things when it comes to traveling is that I only stay in hotels that have CLEAN bathrooms and it must be easy to find something to eat (such as BKK).

Come on, holidays are for you to relax and eat 8 meals per day! Hahahaha

The hotels that we stayed in during our Langkawi trip were good, the bathrooms were clean, and their service were excellent!

We stayed in 2 different hotels, one in a private island and the other deep in the hills. Just in case that you are curious, they are the Rebak Island Resort and the Andaman respectively.

Nothing much to write about cox we spent most of our time walking around the beach and watching The Walking Dead in the room ==”

I’m going to just post a few pictures that I like instead of writing ya!

  • NAPBAS 2011

First of all a big “Thank You” to Nuffnang!

Believe it or not this is the first event, hosted by Nuffnang, that I’ve ever been to.

The awards was held in the grand ballroom of Mariott Hotel Putrajaya!

I was quite worried as soon as I received the invites, my biggest problem being, WHAT TO WEAR?

I never thought of getting anything from the mall because I know that I’ll surely bump into someone who will be wearing the exact same thing as mine!

So, I went to Asos.com and I found the dress that I wanted to wear to the awards!

It was such a relief knowing that I don’t have to worry about what to wear to the awards.

    …then

2 days before the awards, my dress was still no where to be seen!!!! I tried emailing ASOS but no replies so I angry tweeted them, hahaha (but still no replies)

I swear that I will never ever buy anything from them edi!! It was my first purchase with them and they screwed it up just like tat!!

Anyway, I had no back up and I was pretty upset. So, Jo came up with an idea to wear the bodysuit and skirt that I got in the States.

    Bodysuit- American Apparel
    Leather skirt- Urban Outfitters
