  • Jo’s Birthday Dinner

Last week was Jo’s birthday weekend! I have to admit, I suck at giving birthday surprises and I always fail to give JO a surprise because I never know how to keep something from him. I tell him almost everything but I’m not sure whether he tells me everything or not ==” NVM, I will still find out one ! hahahha

One of my friends came to me the other day and said, “I think the key point that you and Jo can keep this realtionship going for so long is because you guys talk to each other a lot!”. Well, I realized too! We talk to each other a lot, and we will update each other whatever happens from 9am- 5pm! So, next time if people asks me how to maintain a relationship, I will never say “trust” anymore, I will say talk more la!

Ok, sorry a bit off topic…

  • Mummy Dearest’s Birthday

Every year when it’s close to my mum’s birthday, the three of us will have to think very very hard on what to give her as her birthday present!

We still cant afford anything that she likes now so we always try our best to bring her to a nice restaurant to have dinner.

So this year, I was telling my sisters we should totally invite our parents to KL and stay in a nice hotel and bring them out for a nice dinner! We all agreed with the idea so I went ahead and did some research on hotels in KL.

I’ve always wanted to stay in Hilton Sentral because Jo told me he has stayed there before and their room is super nice and comfy. I placed it into my “things to do before I die” list hahahha

I have to thank Michelle for partially sponsoring our stay in Hilton =D Thanks for the 50% off vouchers!!! We checked in two rooms and the cost of the rooms were split amongst the three of us. Oh yea, if you didnt know my mum loves to stay in hotels hahaha so this is the best birthday gift ever!

    Top- Covetz

  • Our Engagement Party

We had a little BBQ session to celebrate our engagement the other day. We invited all our closest frens and most of them are our heng dias and ji muis.

It wasn’t a big or fancy party but a small and cosy one. Never thought of having an engagement party at first but one of my friends asked me, “When is your engagement party?” I was like hmmm maybe we should have one, it’s a good excuse to have a bbq and also drink at home.

Thanks to Michelle, Gary and Joanne who came earlier to help out a bit.

Gary and Jo were the cooks of the day!

  • Happy ♥ Day

Happy Valentine’s Day to all my readers and their loved ones!

I hand made a card for Jo this year! Dont judge me k, this is my first handmade card I have ever attempted for him. In fact, I have never handmade anything in my life before… (Dont mention those that we did in high school la ok)

What do you think? I’m thinking to pick up this little interest as a hobby.

Thanks to Michelle who taught me and hooked me up to this!

When I was making the card, I was jokingly to Michelle that I think I’m talented at this and I think I can open a shop to sell all my handmade cards!

    Hahahaha just a joke la!

Jo says it’s perfect for a gift but not good enough to sell. ==”

So what’s your plans for today?Im sure there will be a lot of proposals hahaha

  • CNY 2012

I spent my CNY differently this year! Parents decided to spend this CNY in Taiwan instead!

If you dont know me well, Im the typical Chinese girl who loves Chinese New Year! I love tradition!

Besides all the delicious food that is only served during CNY, buying new clothes is also an important part during CNY.

This year we only spent CNY eve and the first day in Malaysia! I was pretty emo because I knew that there is no other country to celebrate CNY like Malaysia!

You can really feel the CNY mood when you’re in M’sia especially in the malls and restaurants!

The CNY songs playing all day long and also the decorations! It’s intense!

When I landed in Taiwan on the 2nd day of CNY, I was quite disappointed because I could barely feel CNY! In the period that I spent in Taiwan, I kept thinking CNY was over ==”

Aiks, Msia is still the best ya!

Jie and I went home 2 days before CNY and helped mum to hang a red cloth above the main door of our house.

    Decorations around my house!
