  • Autumn in Tokyo – Day 4 & 5

    After I started using Dayre (@bobostephanie), I have had this lingering thought of giving up on my blog …

     I know it’s a bad idea because you guys enjoy reading my blog more RIGHT??? *pointing at everyone with a knife lol

    I seriously think I keep my Dayre more updated compared to my blog lol so if you enjoy reading “Bobo’s Day” go there. I think you will like my Dayre more! =)

    JWL_8115We needed to go get some Tokyo Bananas and the nearest place was Daimaru in Tokyo Station. We decided to just go into a random restaurant in Tokyo Station cause they never fail to amaze us! We went into a restaurant that sells beef tongue! It’s super delicious, the beef was so tender and juicy! Isn’t it amazing how you can find super amazing restaurants in a train station?

  • Two Years Ago…

    How was everyone’s Christmas? Mine was all about sleeping and eating, it felt so good! *aging

    So, Christmas has always been like a normal day to me because I don’t celebrate Christmas. The only reason why I’m excited about Christmas is because it’s a public holiday hahahaha. I dont have any memories of receiving presents or having Christmas dinner with my family when I was young … until I went to the States to further my studies, I celebrated Christmas with my close friends and my students (I used to teach Chinese part-time back in the States for kids).

    That’s when I learned that it’s pretty fun to actually celebrate Christmas… Everyone gathers together, they sing Christmas songs, eat dinner and open presents together! The most exciting part is definitely the snow! Kalamazoo, snows a lot so I celebrated white Christmas’ for 3 years.

    We built our own alcoholic snowman (he was chugging a bottle of beer) in front of my fren’s place. We called it our senior project lol.

  • Urbanscapes 2013

    Urbanscapes IS COMING TO TOWN!!! Did you know that? It’s ok if you don’t know because I’m here to the rescue! The 11th Malaysia Leading Creative Art Festival aka Urbanscapes will be happening on the 23rd & 24th November, 2013 at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang. This two day event will feature a smorgasbord of creative performances from international and local artists including Franz Ferdinand, Two Door Cinema Club, and Tegan and Sara! Don’t panic, don’t panic, since it’s “the” festival of the year, they want to make sure that everyone gets to join the party! To stand a chance to score tickets to Urbanscapes, all you need to do is to submit your most epic “rock” poses through Instagram or Facebook and #makeurbanscapesepic  and #TigerBeerMY. If you would like to party before Urbanscapes as a little warm up , you can head on over to the Tiger Urbanscapes Satellite Show with Explosions in the Sky and Mew at KL Live on the 31st October Tiger.   • Bobo’s (BIG) Day

    Halo all, I’m back after a long long break from logging into my blog hahaha.

    I have been pretty busy with my birthday celebrations hehehe.

    I remember my mum’s reaction to my birthday celebrations were ” HOW MANY DAYS U WANT TO CELEBRATE UR BIRTHDAY??” My reply was “1 or 2 weeks la. Where got ppl celebrate birthday for a day one!” hehehe

    If you think birthday celebrations are overrated u’re so wrong because I enjoy them a lot! Hahaha call me a attention seeker I dont really care. kekeke

    So, since JO, Gin and I are September babies so we decided to celebrate our birthdays together. When I say together you must be thinking there is only one birthday celebration but in fact, it’s not. We managed to celebrate our birthdays a few times hahaha with the same group of frens hahaha.

    So lets begin with Jo’s birthday shall we?

He says he wants to do brunch at NOSH then ice cream, then chocolates, then dinner then supper … So we went ahead with his plan.

  • The New Ford Fiesta Launch Party!

    Last Saturday, I was invited to the new Ford Fiesta launch party and hitz.fm Birthday Invasion that was held at Taylor’s lakeside campus. I have never been to that campus and I couldn’t have imagined how big the campus was till I got there. It took me a while to find the right building for the party and of cox the car park… I remember while I was driving I was literally saying to myself “WTF this campus is HUGE!!! Where is the car park!!!” I freaked out a little because I was scared I might make a wrong turn and end up at the highway instead. Well, I think I’m pretty good with directions so thank god I got there safely hehehe.

    I got there a little earlier so I went ahead to register myself first. I was given a media pass and a bag of door gifts! Guess what was in the goodie bag? There was a headset, and I’ve always wanted to buy a red headset but I didn’t have the motivation to actually go to the mall and look for one. Thanks Ford for saving me the hassle and I can now listen to music in my red headset while I workout!
