Halo guys, I figured maybe I should update you guys on whats going on with my career. Not long ago, I tweeted that I quit my job. I was working as a social media executive in an advertising firm, Mindshare Malaysia.

A few of my friends warned me before I accepted the offer from Mindshare. They say working in an advertising firm is like signing up yourself for “No Life”; it literally means that you have no other life besides your working life hahha.

I refused to listen to them because my passion has always been in advertising. I fell in love with advertising back in the States. I was really curious on how advertisers come out with such brilliant ideas to sell their products.

So, I decided to continue my studies in advertising and promotion!

After graduating from the States, I was lucky enough to meet my long lost friend and he introduced me into an advertising company called Mindshare.

Ever since I joined Mindshare, my working hours were so unstable, it was no longer 9-5. It was more than that! ==” I was pretty happy and I felt productive everyday. Besides that, being able to learn new things everyday is really a bonus for me! (I hate wasting time sitting at home doing nothing and the scariest part is that I don’t get to learn anything from it. In another way, I would say no contribution to society == )

  • Wedding Preparation – Pre wedding shoot (Sepang & Studio)

    HALO! Another wedding preparation update!

I’m the most hardworking bride, right right?

So, as you all should know by now ( I assume everyone follows me on Instagram or Twitter ==”) we went to take our first pre wedding shoot on Tuesday.

It was so much fun!! I kinda love the feeling of letting others do my make up, match accessories for me, and etc.

We did our pre wedding shoot with De Casamia in SS2.

Got there early in the morning, 8am!

The make up ended at around 9am!! I have to say their service is pretty good, the make up artist explained everything to me before she started to apply anything on my face. Then she gave me some tips of how to take care of my skin when im doing the outdoor shoot and also my hair from the hair spray.

Ok, there are a lot of first times in this shoot.

My first time wearing earrings (clip-on)

My first time doing a proper studio shoot

  • It’s Your Birthday!

Last week was BFF’s birthday, well more like a belated birthday celebration. It was because her birthday fell on the weekdays and normally as a working woman (ahem) we cant really party or gather together on weekdays.

So, we decided to celebrate her birthday last Saturday at Ben’s, Publika, then after that, Zouk!

It has been more than 5 months since I’ve last been to Zouk. #youknowurold when you stop going out on Saturday nights and you prefer to play Mahjong instead.

Since it’s a birthday celebration might as well make it B I G!

  • Tainan Walkers- Days 3,4,5,6….

As you can see from my title, I spent the rest of my Taiwan trip back in Tainan.

I wouldn’t say it was boring but it was pretty ordinary.

Taiwan has been like my hometown to me. I go there almost every year just to visit my grandmother and relatives.

Im so used to the food there and I know exactly where to go for nice chicken rice bento and stuff.

So, since I wasn’t being a tourist here, ==” Im going to just post up pictures of all sorts of food that I had!

Ahem, they are all my favorite foods ok~~~ I must have all of them during my trips to Taiwan hahaha.

“Ru Wei” we have to have this as our appetizer during every meal! Super love pig’s ears!

  • Wedding Preparation 2

Ooo not sure if I have told everyone about my white gown, well, I have finally found it after searching high and low in all bridal shops in KL.

I went to Taiwan during CNY and yes, I bought my gown there in Taipei.

It’s way cheaper than what I expected and believe it or not it looks exactly like the one I saw online!

At first I wanted to tailormake my white gown but the bridal shop that I went to quoted me RM6k plus for a simple gown without any details ok ==”

WTF, 6k le!!! (Yes, that was my reaction when she told me it going to cost me 6k) I still dont think I will spend that much on gowns because Im just wearing it once!

Sorry a, I’ve been told that Im not allowed to post up any pictures of my gown till my wedding day.

Even Jo cant look at my gown but he did ==” Because I just couldn’t decide whether if I should buy or not so I took a picture and showed it to Jo.

He said yes then I paid.

I feel so relieved after buying the gown because I don’t have to worry about not being able to find a perfect gown anymore!

    Ok, done with that then.

Now back to some other stuff- the wedding shoot.

I will be taking our first local pre wedding shoot next Tuesday. So, last week we went to the bridal shop to choose my gowns for the outdoor shoot and also the indoor one.

Thank god that they allowed us to take a few pictures (because we paid edi ma ==”)

I invited 2 of my bridesmaids, bff and Shirley!
