  • Makeup Tutorial By Kanebo

    Sponsored Post

Halo everyone! I know a few of you have been asking me to do a tutorial on my daily make up. It takes me a while to decide how I should do it because the previous one was a failure hahaha… A few of you complained that it was too fast; you can’t really see what I was doing…

So I was thinking maybe I will do one when I have new cosmetics or new techniques to share with you guys. Then, one day I received a call from Nuffnang saying that I’m invited to Kanebo Lunasol 2013 Spring Collection press release. I get to check out their Spring collection before it’s out in the market, HOW EXCITING!!

Let me share a little on this collection before I start my makeup tutorial! Lunasol 2013 Spring Collection for this spring is a complete, colorful, purifying make up which was inspired by the beautiful butterfly. I always think applying colorful make up will help to boost up my day, so I always make sure that I apply make up whenever I’m down haha. This is one of my ways to brighten up my day! OK la, maybe I should start with my makeup tutorial instead of being long winded here… I’m showing you my face without make up so please don’t be scared haha.

Lunasol hired a professional make up artist and did a full make up demo for us. Before this, I always thought I have been doing it the right way but not until I saw what the make up artist did and taught us. Hahaha  I will try my best to share everything with you step by step k, so be extra patient.

  • Our Honeymoon – Boracay III

Hola! How’s everyone doing? It’s me again, Jo. Sorry for the disappointment if you were expecting Bo but she kinda tricked me into doing this post. Anyhow, I guess that I would have offered to do it for her anyway cause she’s been just so busy these past few weeks. I’ve always had my preconceived notions about how bloggers and blogging is so easy, but recently Bo has been so busy with events and such, combined with her daily 9-5, that she has little time left for me.

Anyway, back to the post. This would be our third and fourth day in Boracay, and also our last day in the Philippines, which was spent in Clark. After the adventures of the previous day, I have basically come to a daft conclusion that the adventurous life of being a badass, cliff diving, treasure looting, womanizing pirate, was not my particular cup of tea.

I was still pretty shaken and still felt like I was floating in the sea whenever I closed my eyes, so we decided to take it easy and just spend the day enjoying the sun and laying on the beach.

It was another beautiful day in Boracay and going through our pictures now, I’m still plenty amazed at how beautiful this place is!

  • One Shade Whiter

Have you ever wondered how to achieve a bright white smile in just one week without having to spend so much on dental fees?

I personally think that having bright white teeth plays a really important role when it comes to beauty. No matter how pretty or stylish you are, if have yellowish teeth it will instantly minus your beauty points and bring down your self-confidence! I’m not kidding ok! I’ve always wanted brighter and whiter teeth but I have tried so many brands but none of them works =( It’s pretty disappointing when this happens because as you all know, I’m in love with bright red/orange color lipstick so yellowish teeth just wont do!

Thank God, Colgate came out with this new product called “Colgate Optic White”. It’s a beauty product for bright, white smiles. It’s the latest beauty must-have that promises one shade whiter teeth after just ONE WEEK use!!!

I was lucky enough to be invited as one of the bloggers to their Colgate Optic White launch last Saturday! It was literally my first event I have ever attended as a blogger hahaha. Besides that, I get to meet Nur Fazura personally, SUPER EXCITED! She looks so flawless and she pulls off the red lips with her bright white smile.

Colgate Optic White launch was held in Centre Court, One Utama last Saturday. The dress code was Red and White. Everyone was dressed in red and white to match the theme!

  • My Lucky Charm?

Have your friends or anyone ever asked you, “Why you like him so much a?” or “What do you like about him?”

Oh yes, I received these questions over and over again and I have NO idea how to reply. Sometimes, you just know that he/she is the one that you want to spend the rest of your life with.

Back when I was younger I answered, “Because he is “yeng”? cool? Tall?” Oh boy, those were the days when I was still very into prince charmings, hahaha. Dont judge me, I dont believe you if you say you’ve never been through this stage! Ah… dont laugh a!! Sure got one!

The older you get, the more mature u will be, so will your BF/husband requirements. It changes from prince charming to prince useful hahahhahaha…

We tend to like guys who are very helpful, smart (I always prefer street smart than book smart…), caring, treats u like a princess and of cox love or take care of ur family.

So, these thoughts gave me an idea to write this post. Since I’m sort of running out of things to blog (I will leave our honeymoon post 3 to Jo since the last post tat he did received a lot of good feedback. I was quite jealous so I asked him, “My writing really bad meh???” He says, “Aiyo, something new ma so ppl like la.”)

I have been secretly snapping pictures of Jo whenever he does something sweet for me so dont say I force him to do one ah…

  • Our Honeymoon – Boracay II

Hi, everyone! Jo here! I know, you’re probably wondering why it’s me instead of Bo but unfortunately she’s just too busy recently to do any blogging, so I volunteered myself… and let me start by saying, this is hard.

How the hell does she do it constantly? Gosh, I’ve already ran outta things to type, imagine that. Fortunately for me, Bo has already arranged the pics for this post so I shall narrate accordingly! Anyway, so at this point we’ve spent our first actual day in Boracay doing absolutely nothing. And, it was awesome, ‘cause when you’re used to the busy working routine, any short break is priceless. We did however come across brochure for a day trip to Ariel’s Point and the main attraction was cliff diving.

OK, rewind to a few trips back, we went island kayaking in Krabi, Thailand, and I always joke that that was probably the biggest test of our relationship. Imagine doing all the kayaking 70% of the time, in rough seas, trying not to crash into cliff walls, all the while dealing with a hysterical, screaming girl. Not good memories, so when we saw cliff diving, I told Bo, no!
