  • Blin Blin Eyes

Halo everyone, a short update before I leave for Bangkok today. I was jokingly telling JO that going to Bangkok is like going back to our hometown, I dont know why, we just love it there. Everything seems to be perfect there, whatever food or shopping we want are there! I think we were born in the wrong country, NVM NVM flight tickets are so cheap nowadays, we can go there quite often! In fact we will be going to Bangkok again in September just because the air fare is only RM200 two ways! HOW TO NOT GO, u tell me?

Anyway, I was going through my Formspring the other day and I saw a few of you were asking me the same question, “where do you buy your contact lens?” and “what brand of contact lens are you wearing?” I answered a few times saying that I’m wearing BLINCON but no one seems to know about this brand. Like I have mentioned in my Formspring, I bought my contact lens from an optical shop in Giant (Puchong) or from a branch at Mid Valley. I wont mention the name of the optical shop because they retail them pretty expensive. They are selling a pair of Blincon at RM90! Last year I bought them at around RM70 but this year the price increased and it’s RM90. Maybe for some of you it’s considered cheap (compared to those normal lens or daily lens) but for me my wallet and heart is bleeding hahaha.

  • I LOVE…Bubble Bath

Recently I’ve received a few questions on Formspring asking what kind of body lotion and bubble bath that I’m using. So, today I was like, hmm maybe I should blog about my home “spa” routine. It’s not really like a complete head to toe type spa but it’s a routine that I do every day.

I always make sure that I apply lotion before I go to bed because it will keep my skin moisturized throughout the night. Besides keeping my skin moist, the smell of the lotion is really important to me too. I love it when my skin smells like fruits hahahaha, it helps to relax my whole body.

I used to be very addicted into Bodyshop body lotions but I find it quite expensive for me to apply every day, so I stopped using them and have gone back to using normal ones ==”

I was lucky enough to receive an email the other day, asking me to review a range of beauty products from GLAMOGIRL.COM  If you haven’t heard about Glamogirl yet, they are a distributor that markets and distributes several ranges of beauty products, from skincare, makeup to baby care, to major retail channels in Singapore & Malaysia. They also do online shopping if you’re too lazy to step out of your house hahahah.

JWL_7308 My “I LOVE…” raspberry & blackberry bodycare from Glamogirl.com. Every night, Jo comments that I smell like a giant raspberry and it makes him hungry ==”

  • Kanebo Kate Spring/Summer Collection Workshop

    Sponsored Post

Last week I was invited by Kanebo KATE to attend their Spring/Summer collection workshop in KL. Lately I’ve received a few such invitations for skincare and cosmetic launches, and I find these events very interesting because I get to learn a lot of different makeup skills and also skincare tips from them. Most of you should have already heard about or used KATE so I will just skip the intro to the brand! The main theme color for KATE 2013 collection is GOLD, one of my favorite colors.

1 The moment I got to my seat there was lots of KATE cosmetic lying on the table waiting to be use. Personally I prefer workshops that allows us to do our own makeup or play with their makeup while listening the professional makeup artists putting on the makeup on the models. I find it easier to understand and remember hahaha

  • Essential Facial (Plus) By DRx

Still remember that I mentioned that I will be doing my first ever facial at DRx in my previous post? I went back last week to DRx last week for my third consultation, and it went well because Dr Jason said my skin improved a lot compared to my previous consultation. One of the things that will make girls happy is when they are praised on their skin hahahah. Then Dr Jason asked me if there was anything else I was concerned about, and I said MY DARK CIRCLES! I think because my skin tone is even now, it makes my dark circles more obvious! If I remove my makeup you can clearly see the dark rings around my eyes. Dr Jason says it be might due to the sagging of my eyes. It’s pretty simple, when it sags, it creates a shadow, as simple as that. Since I started putting on makeup I have already realized I have saggy eyes hahaha. It’s sort of like a genetic thingy because my dad has saggy eyes too = =” Dr Jason is still trying to figure a way to alleviate this problem of mine, and he mentioned that so far there are 2 options for me. First it’s doing filler and another is to do laser! I’m still thinking if I should go for filler? Hahaha I will surely blog about the whole process if I decide to go for it!

As for now, let me share with you girls or guys hahha the Essential Facial (Plus) that I did at DRx. Essential facial, an award-winning program, is DRx’s fundamental treatment for the maintenance of a good complexion, and you can only enjoy this facial in DRx only. Have you heard of Ultrasonic cleansing? Basically, Ultrasonic-cleansing helps to eliminate dead cells from our skin surface and loosen blackheads and whiteheads. Once whiteheads and blackheads are loosened, they are easier to extract without damaging the surrounding skin. Don’t you just love it when the technology is so advanced these days so you don’t have to worry about ANYTHING!! It works like magic on my skin!

As usual, the professional therapist removed and cleaned my face then she led me to a room to begin my facial.
