  • Bobo’s Day – Kuala Pilah

    I’m finally back in KL after a week off from the city. I always feel super exhausted after a long break, maybe because I always end up staying up late or having fun rather than resting, hahaha.

    Anyway I figured some of you might not know how issit like staying in a small town because you’re born and raised in a big city so I thought maybe I shall blog about how I spent my days in my hometown, Kuala Pilah. I kept reminding myself to take pictures of everything I do hahaha. A for effort for me hehee

     Country road, take me home… To the place, I belong…. lalala I always keep myself busy when I drive home alone because I’m that type of person who will easily fall asleep when I’m driving hahaha. I turn on the music very loud and sing along!

  • One Night In Poppy

    Hey everyone! Last Friday, I attended the Elegantology Party at Poppy Gardens, an event which I’ve blogged about last week! The dress code was “white elegance” and as soon as I saw this, I knew I had a huge problem awaiting me at my wardrobe. I have no white outfits… Not even a simple white dress! Haihhh. Brainstormed a bit with Jo and event went out to shop for some white pieces, but ended up putting something together from what I have. I think I look quite elegant hor? Hehehe

  • Shopping Haul At Crabtree & Evelyn

    Went to Pavilion with Jo after work a few days ago to have dinner, pick up some groceries, and also to look for a white outfit. It’s so hard putting together an outfit based on a theme color right! And not to mention, I needed white pieces somemore! Anyway, eventually my personal stylist/husband, hehe, found me something and saved me a panic buy session.

    Anyway, we were walking around the mall and I realized I’ve ran out of body lotion, and I immediately thought of going to Crabtree & Evelyn to look for something new.

    shampooJo was saying, “Wow babe, you’re gonna be ecstatic, there’s literally 1000 things for u to try!” Yeah, hahaha, I love to try every single scents or flavours whenever I’m looking for perfumes or lotions! I love the huge selection that’s always available at Crabtree & Evelyn.

  • Back in Kampung

    CYMERA_20130827_125820Im currently back in my hometown till Friday/Saturday.

    I dont remember when was the last time I stayed in my hometown for more than 2 nights? If i’m not mistaken it was the days before I got married hahaha. Time passed by so fast, I cant believe that it’s almost been 1 yr since we got married!!

    I have this love-hate relationship with my hometown, Kuala Pilah. I sometime call it my kampung, because it’s literally a kampung ==” hahaha

    Let me talk about why I like it here? First off is my family, as my parents and Gin are currently staying in KP because her clinic is here too. Second is the enviroment, everything is so close to each other like literally! Like, just now I urgently needed to bank in a check to Public bank and guess what! Public bank is just 1 min away by car ok!! No traffic jam, NO traffic lights, NO tolls! You say la, awesome or wat! KP is pretty quiet too, it’s like a town for retirement hahhaa. You can get to relax, no sound pollution or honks haha. Lastly, will be the food! I thnk it might be because I was born and raised here so I’m used to the flavour and all. The food here is not oily and salty which I really like!

    Now, the hate part! I have to admit I cant stand being here long, when I say long I mean more than a week? Haha like I have mentioned it’s a retirement town… super quiet and slow. I cant decide whether I like busy life or carefree life. Busy life is good to keep you away from thinking too much and the for the other, u will be occupied with a lot of thoughts and emotions. You will feel everything is against or in your way hahhaa. I get emo when I’m too free hahha I have a lot of things to think about. Im just weird… Besides that, there is NO entertainment in KP at all haha. I’m talking about shopping malls, hang out spots or even KTV T___T The only entertainment is to “yam cha” (drink tea) with your friends at the mamak hahhaa. No chatime or nothing fancy just mamak. If you’re bored of yam cha you can drive to the park and sacrifice ur blood to the mosquitoes hahahhaa

    No matter, it feels so good to be home for a few days…

  • Pre- party Facial By DRx

    As most of you should know, I have been using DRx skincare for more than 4 months edi! I realized that it really helped to reduce pigmentation of my skin and also my uneven skintone!

    So, recently I went back to DRx again to try out their Carbon Laser, or you can call it, a pre-party facial haha. Carbon Laser helps in micro exfoliation of dead cells on the surface of our skin to even out skin tone, minimize pores and texturize our skin. The reason why I call it the pre-party facial because Dr Jason told me that it will give you flawless looking skin almost immediately! I know a lot of girls who loves to go for facials before any dinner or events, but those normal facials do not help to brighten or even out your skintone as they only clean your face and does not properly remove dead skin cells from the skin! Some of them even give you redness from all the pressing and squeezing of your pimples or blackheads!

    Dr Jason also told me that in order to achieve the best results, you should do this treatment Carbon Laser approximately 1 week before your party/dinner and the effects will last for 2- 3 weeks! The effects wont be as obvious on the first week, but in my case, only after a few days, I could see the effects on my skin. It’s easier for me to apply makeup too because I don’t have to spend so much time on foundation and concealing haha.

    This is me with no makeup on =) I’m quite happy with my bare face now because there is almost zero pigmentation besides my around eyes T___T Dr Jason, please help me with this!!
