    I always make sure that I smell good whenever I step out of my room. I’m OCD about this and I will always use perfume. I will feel insecure throughout the day if I forget to spray perfume so I always keep a small bottle of perfume in my bag =)

    I think my mum influenced me a lot on this because she is a perfume addict. I wish I could take a picture of her dressing table now so that you understand what I mean. She has more than 15 bottles of perfume on her dressing table and she taught us to use perfume when I was in high school. I remember her telling us, “Applying perfume before meeting anyone will help to leave a good impression.” Ever since then, my mum won’t stop buying perfumes for her and us.

    When it comes to perfume, it takes time to find the scent that suits us. Do you know that if you apply the same perfume on 5 different people, each of them will still smell different? That’s because individuals have their own body smell so when mixed with the perfume, the scent will be different. So you get your own unique smell even if you’re using the same perfume! How cool is that!

    So applying perfume is a must for me even if I’m just heading out for a simple dinner or a movie = =. I usually apply a stronger scented fragrance during the night (clubbing or dinner) then fruity/flowery fragrance during the day.

  • URBANSCAPES 2013 COUNTDOWN!

  • Imagine…

  • DRx O2 Treatment

    I think I’m starting to get used to visiting DRx for my monthly facial. As usual, I went back to DRx for another pre-prep facial just a week before my birthday. I really like the idea of occupying myself with hair or facial appointment before a party. It’s like the life of rich tai tai (housewife) hahahaha.

    So this time I get to try out a new pre-party facial that DRx just introduced in Malaysia. I have been told that this facial is really well known and a lot of celebrities like Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Beyonce are doing this facial too. This magic treatment is called DRx O2 Treatment. Let me share a little bit on this treatment before I show you the process.

    DRx O2 Treatment is known as a Topical Hyperbaric Oxygen (THO) Theraphy. The name itself already sounds very professional hahaha. Basically, this treatment directs oxygen to the vital fluids at the surface, and THO Therapy is used to promote new cell growth to speed healing and aid absorption of the serums used. To put it simply, this treatment basically helps to push oxygen into your skin, provide moisture to your skin, minimize your fine lines and whiten/brighten up your skin! In just 45 minutes, this therapy can do so much for your skin, which is super awesome for people like me who cannot sit still for more than 30 min hahaha.

  • Take a Deep Breath…

    Today, I’m going to talk about the smell in my room. Not sure about you, but I’m usually very very sensitive when it comes to smell or odors hahaha. I have a very sensitive nose like a mouse kekeke. Whenever I step into my room the first thing I do is to make sure it doesnt smell funny. With the rainy weather (rained a lot) recently, the moisture in the air creates a very funky smell when I leave my room door closed the whole time. Besides that, I usually workout in my room because then I get to workout in my underwear and sport bra hahahha sexy or not! So my room will smell of sweat and all la. Quite disgusting la come to think of it. I have been looking for something that can help to ease away the funky smell or the sweaty smell. I have tried a lot of products like Febreeze, air fresheners, perfume or even charcoal! None of them works because my room is quite big, around 600+sqft. I need something that can continuously provide good scents in my room. I cant use something that is temporary like Febreeze or air fresheners. I was quite frustrated so I decided to just spray my perfume instead =___=

    Then one day, I went back to KP and saw Gin’s clinic using aromatic oils. The smell is good, enough to envelope her whole clinic, and I was quite amazed by the little burner hehe. Gin got hers from Thailand when we traveled there a few months back and hers was quite expensive… My dad got it for her at around a few hundred dollars!

    I was quite lucky because a few days after that, I received an email from Palaisdorspa. They are willing to send a few of their products for me to try. Talk about being lucky ah, it comes in just when I need it.
