  • Bangkok Again… Day 1 & 2

    Mum said, “Bangkok again???” Yea, another Bangkok trip for us, I think this will be our 3rd trip within a year.

    I kinda like it there, and I never get bored of Bangkok…at least for now la hahaha

    I was telling Jo maybe we should go back to Bangkok after our wedding, and I wouldn’t mind going there as our mini honeymoon.

    I told myself this trip is going to be very relaxing, no rushing around shopping malls and eating more than 5 meals a day just because of the time.

    So we bought our ticket 2 weeks before our travel date and off we went!

    We checked into Herritage Hotel but I wouldn’t recommend you guys to stay there because it’s pretty disappointing la, it’s quite dirty but the location is awesome! It’s located at Silom right at the BTS station. You can try I-Residence if you want to stay in Silom, I stayed there once and loved it! It’s pretty clean and the room is huge!

    So the first thing I did in Bangkok is to look for corn! I was pretty excited when I saw a corn stall right in front of our hotel!

  • The Next Chapter – Traditional Tea Ceremony

    The post most of you have been waiting for….

    There are a lot of pictures to choose from so it took me a while to blog about it.

    I wont tell a long grandma story here la since most of you is going to just scroll thru and see the pictures only hahhaa.

    My hair and make up were all done by Hikky San from 76Style. I personally think the makeup artist is very very important especially on your big day like your wedding day! You have to find someone that understands what you want and also make sure they wont just FFK you ahhaha. I heard from one of my friends her make up artist decided to ffk on her wedding day and she had to find another make up artist at the last minute =( I was quite paranoid once I heard about it and I was damn scared my make up artist will ffk. I was quite worried if I find a normal wedding day makeup artist I will end up looking like all the brides, you know those with feather or fake diamond or pearls in their hair ==” I was quite relieved when I found out that 76style will be sponsoring my make up and hair  on my wedding day. I did a few shoots with Hikky before and she did an awesome job so I trust her more than anyone else!  By the way, good news to those who are looking for make up and hair for your party, big day or whatever you’re planning… 76style now provides make-up service at their branches, click here for more info!   • LOTD- Sexy Little Black Dress

    Got this little sexy black dress from Twenty3.

    I always wanted a full laced dress but the ones that are currently available in most blogshops are short sleeved. I personally love long sleeved dresses, I find it quite elegant yet sexy.

    This blogshop currently has a few cute and sweet dresses, and I’m even sure some of you might have heard of it. It’s called Twenty3, and the quality of their collections are pretty good and the price is pretty affordable.

  • 3 Nights in Beijing – II

    So our third day in Beijing was pretty much a “tourist” day. We decided to head to the Forbidden city for a day tour by ourselves.

    I’ve been there once when I was 12 yrs old! It’s around 15 years edi ! OMG how time flies…

    I still remember the last time I was there, their public toilet has no doors! I remember clearly that a little American girl who was peeing at the cubicle next to mine turned to her mum and said, “Mum, they can see me.” hahaha

  • Modbox Giveaway

    Ok, Im not sure about you but I’m that kind of person who LOVES free stuff especially samples when it comes to purchasing cosmetics or skincare.

    Just a while ago, I went to stock up some of my skincare and I didn’t forget to ask for samples from them. It’s a bit aunty la but who cares!!

    When I was studying in the US, their skincare/cosmetic counters in their shopping malls love to give out samples, and the amount of samples that they gave me can last me another month hahaha.

    Few reasons that why I love samples…

    First it’s because I get to try something different! Sometimes when I’m too bored of the skincare that I normally use, I will try something different.

    Second, It’s a lifesaver when it comes to travelling. I used to travel back and forth between my hometown and KL a lot! Times like this I prefer to bring samples along instead of carrying the big bottles.

    Third, the sample packagings are way too cute.

    Well I guess that explains why I love samples.
