  • Coco before Chanel

    I was sitting in my Finance class this morning got bored while waiting for my lecture to come into the class. I took out my IPhone and started to search for new movies to watch in the cinema. I was so surprised to see they are coming out a movie of Coco Chanel. This movie basically shows us about the story of Coco Chanel’s rise from obscure beginnings to the heights of the fashion world, interesting~~~

    So I did some research on it. I watched the trailer and did some background research on Coco Chanel ( I know I was super free), after all the research it turned out to be another must watch movie in September for me and Jo… Well, besides Jennifer’s body and Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 3D.

    They always come out good movies in September, what can I say?? September is always my favorite month of the year… I’m a September baby =P Another 11 days till the day I’m born.

  • Need and Want

    I am the type of girl who will list all of my “wants” into my “needs” list. Just to make myself feel better, or maybe not to guilty about it. I just realized that I am officially a shopaholic, a very serious sickness, a scary one, bad one…

    So, I was talking to my twin sister and she mentioned a documentary she watched on the Discovery channel called “The Secret“. You should just google it, I don’t want to explain it wrongly. You will discover the power of it, well, to my sister it is super powerful and it works. She tried it a lot of times right after she watched it, and surprisingly it seems to be working every time she tried it.

    I’m starting to believe in my sister right after she told me a few successful examples, and since there is no harm giving it a try, I’ve decided to try it. I’ve just started last night, before going to bed, and I really hope that my thoughts will come true.

    Back to my original topic, needs and wants… Yupe, I always listed my “wants” into my “needs” list. For example, I just got myself a 15″ Macbook Pro. This is obviously a want. I erased it from my “wants” list and put it into my “needs” list with a blink of an eye and without thinking about it. I stood in the Apple store and asked myself do I need it? I answered YES! So, I bought it even thought I know I have a good, functional and a relatively new one at home. After i paid and walked out from the store, I felt guilty but it was too late to regret.

    There is many an occasion where I think that I make my decisions too hastily or you can say that I suck at making my own decisions. What can I do? I’m learning… trying to improve ={

    Daddy, if you’re reading this…Just want to let you know that I used my own savings from my work to pay for it. Just think of it as my graduation present that I bought for myself =)

    Bye bye to my Toshiba and Hi to my Mac

  • Anna Sui Dolly Girl

    I am always curious about the advertisements that show up on my blog, so this morning I clicked into the Anna Sui ad that is on my blog, and saw a competition from the Anna Sui microsite and Tongue in Chic. This competition is based on the new Anna Sui flawless Finish Divine Perfection collection, their newly launched cosmetic line. To be honest, Anna Sui was my first cosmetic that I ever bought when I was around 19, and I have always loved their packaging and the variety of colors of eye shadows and lip gloss. I have been purchasing the same color of lip gloss from Anna Sui for quite a while now.

    So for this competition, we have to create a look using Looklet, where the look has to based on the color and packaging of Anna Sui’s new collection.     This is the look that I have created using Looklet. I love the combination of black and purple. Now lets talk about foundation. For me, applying  foundation is a very important step in my make up routine, and I think that a good foundation can make your face look healthier and help complete my look. By using a good foundation, it helps to create a flawless and perfect looking skin that means when people looking at you, all they can see is perfect skin. Healthy and perfect looking skin can build up your own self-confidence, helps you stand out o f the crowd, and also turn an ordinary girl into a dolly looking girl.
