  • The Gown

I have a confession to make, although our wedding ceremony was held 4 months ago, I’m still very much in love with my wedding gown.

I still cant stop myself from looking at it, either in pictures or the dress itself. I was telling myself how lucky I was to be able to find the one gown that I have been dreaming for.

I wanted it to be simple yet elegant. Most of the gowns that I saw in the bridal shops are either too complicated (with a lot of beads, fake crystals or sequins) or were too plain (zero details ==” ).

When I was young I always day dreamed about how my wedding gown would look like. I’ve always thought about a heart shape cut and of cox a long train… This is how brides are supposed to look like, like a princess I would say hahaha. Time passes and we grow up, some people might have changed their mind on the design of their wedding but I didnt.

So when I was hunting for my gown I still picked the same cut hahaha. As expected I couldn’t find one in Malaysia but I found it in Taiwan.

Big thank you to Dudu who found it for me when I was busy looking at other gowns.

She came to me with the gown and shouted, “Bobo, R u looking for something like this?” The moment I saw it I knew it’s the one!

Princess gown, heart shaped cut with beaded details around the waist… Simple yet elegent

  • New Obsession… Collecting Phone Cases

Halo, I figured since I have blogged about my bag collection, maybe I can show you guys what’s my current obsession….

    It’s collecting phone cases.

One of the reasons why I love going to the pasar malam is because I love looking at all the phone cases. I will make a few stops at all the phone case stalls until Jo says, “Babe u have more than enough cases, u only have one phone.

So, when I was cleaning my drawer the other day, I realized hmmm maybe Jo is right about my phone case obession haha. Well, maybe compared to some of you it’s just a little la… but Jo wont stop complaining whenever I walk into a stall that sells phone cases ==”

So, this is my phone case collection… Most of my cases I got in Taiwan or China because it’s super cheap there.

  • At Long Last, The Bag Post

A few of my readers have requested that I should blog about my bag collection. I’ve promised that I will do it when Im free, so here it is!

I’m so sorry for the delay, I think I’ve delayed this post for more than 2 months! Pls dont hate me *puppy eyes*

I was afraid that this would turn out to be a boring post cox Im going to just put in some pictures of my bags and type in some captions.

Note: I got all my bags back in the States where they were all pretty affordable compared to M’sia.

I’ve stopped buying branded items ever since I came back from the US because I’m super broke now. Thank you.

    Enjoy!

  • I Was In Petaling Street.

Shop all day, Walk all night, Lets get it pumping.

    I was in Petaling Street.

    damn lame , I know… ==’

Anyway, Chinese New Year is around the corner YO! Im pretty sure no one is as excited about it as me! I’m super excited!!!! I think it’s because I missed the last 3 Chinese New Year celebrations when I was studying back in the States.

Im pretty happy that I dont have to turn on Skype early in the morning to talk to my family, and also looking at my sisters eating delicious food cooked by my grandma through the web cam.

So this year, I’m the one responsible for getting the decorations that my mum needs for my house.

Petaling Street is the most suitable place to get them, so, Jo and I made a trip down to Petaling Street last weekend to hunt for something red and gold for my house!

  • Lumix Lx3

When I was back in M’sia for summer holiday, I gave my Canon Powershot to my sister because I was having 2 cameras at that time (the D40 and PowerShot) but ever since then I’ve been regretting not having a small camera with me everyday. I miss taking random pictures using my small camera and also recording videos of Nacho. Yes, I have a Nikon D40 sitting in my shelf, I love the all the pictures taken with my D40 but the only bad side of it is it is too big to carry around with me. I am talking about EVERDAY, or when Im out with friends in the club.

Ever since we bought a D300, we kinda abandoned my D40 in my book shelf so Jo suggested we should sell it away and get a small camera that I can keep it in my bag and use everyday.

Bye bye D40, you will be missed…

I have been wanting to get a small camera that has almost the same functions as my D40 but in a smaller size. Then I remembered the camera that Sharon is currently using, and it fulfills all my requirements. I have seen all the pictures taken by her Lumix Lx3 and they are amazing. So I have made a decision of getting a Lumix lx 3, and I got it online for a reasonable price.

I got it a few days ago and I have been playing it since then. I love the design of this camera, it looks very retro but the only difference is that it has very modern functions. It has full manual controls, with a control dial on the top. It has a cute pop up flash tucked away neatly.

    It has a 24mm- 60mm (35mm equivalent, or 17-40mm APS-C equivalent) f2.0-2.8 lens

It has a large LCD screen at the back with some external controls. It has a Q button for a quick menu that has access to essential things like White Balance, ISO, Focus mode, metering, and etc. It lacks external controls like the Canon G10/11 but makes up for that in a smaller size. This camera has an ISO range of 80-3200. Pictures at ISO1600 @ f2.0 has just a little noise and is very useful.

My  favorite thing about this camera is its size… It’s handy and cute!

Here is the picture that I took using my new baby… It has manual focus and you can choose your own focus point. It works pretty similar to a DSLR. The widest aperture setting f2.0 lets you blur out the background nicely. It produces very nice bokeh, I would say as good as my 50mm f1.8 lens. The sun sidelighting the flower acts as a rim light, so it looks very 3-D and looks like its popping out of the scene.

I can see myself using this camera more often than my D40 and I believe you will see more of my random pictures because I will definitely use it to its fullest extent.
