Hey everyone! Last Friday, I attended the Elegantology Party at Poppy Gardens, an event which I’ve blogged about last week! The dress code was “white elegance” and as soon as I saw this, I knew I had a huge problem awaiting me at my wardrobe. I have no white outfits… Not even a simple white dress! Haihhh. Brainstormed a bit with Jo and event went out to shop for some white pieces, but ended up putting something together from what I have. I think I look quite elegant hor? Hehehe
Halo, I just got back from my 4 day trip to Bangkok and it felt like I was there for a month! I believe time paused when I was having fun.
This Bangkok trip is little bit different from my previous Bangkok trips because we went with my family! It was like a very last minute family trip because Jo and I bought our tickets a few months ago, then my family decided to tag along! Believe it or not, it’s our very first family trip out of the country besides Taiwan.
I didnt have a chance to take many pictures because I was so occupied with showing them around, eating like a monster and shopping like a shopaholic hahahaha.
Since I’m a responsible blogger *ahem I managed to snap a few pictures using my Note2 so that I can share with everyone what I did in Bangkok!
BonChon chicken serves the BEST Korean fried chicken! I think it tastes way better than 4 fingers in Sinagpore because 4 fingers is way too salty =( The best part is that they serve it with sticky rice hahaha.
Remember the convertible dress that my bridesmaids wore on my wedding day? I received a lot of comments saying that my bridesmaids dresses were super gorgeous because it fits everyone perfectly! The reason is pretty simple because it’s convertible which means you can create your very own design that fits you the most. I was so in love with the dress and I was about to get one for myself but I didnt because I prefer bodycon dresses. Bodycon dresses tend to give people the illusion of looking skinny.
So one day Sherlyn, the owner of Twenty3 told me that she will be launching her self-manufactured “Marilyn Monroe Dress” in June. The moment she showed it to me I instanlly fell in love with it. It’s a convertible dress but it’s a bodycon cut, hehehe, it’s prefect for dinners, gatherings, or clubbing!

Anyong haseyo, if you’re a super K-pop fan then this post is really catered for you because Im about to share some of my K-pop inspired outfits!
So far I only managed to put together two very very k-pop inspired looks as being a full time OL, I hardly have time to dress up and take pictures =(
No matter what, when there is an opportunity or if I have time, I will make sure that I dress up no matter where I go. I always get weird stares when I walk around Pavilion or Mid Valley because the way I dress but WHO CARES??? Dress to impress!
Back to the topic, K-pop inspired looks! There is a few things that I noticed on Korean looks (MTV or Instagram):-
1. COLORFUL! Yes, the more colorful, the more Kpop!
2. ORANGE! No matter if it’s orange lips, eye shadows, cheeks or accessories.
3. NUDE- Nude makeup of cox… Their looks are really clean and simple and they dont really use fake eyelashes!! One thing that I cant live without =(
4. CAP- O yes, their super cute baseball caps!
5. JEFFREY CAMPBELL- If you dont know, most of Stylenanda models are styled with a pair of JC Litas!
6. SKINNY JEANS- Nothing much to describe because skinny jeans are the BOMB and they make your legs look longer.
